Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Hudson, NY

Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $18 - $25 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

Are you detail-oriented with a knack for ensuring products meet quality standards? We are currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Hudson, NY, on a direct hire basis.

Quality Control Inspector Requirements:

• Previous experience in quality control or a related field preferred
• Background in auto mechanics, construction, or a trade field will be considered
• Experience working in a manufacturing setting is preferred
• Strong mathematical skills for measurement and calculation purposes
• Proficiency in using calipers, ring gauges, thread gauges, and other measurement tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or discrepancies
• Good vision with or without glasses, as the role requires visual inspections
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift objects weighing up to 20lbs

Quality Control Inspector Responsibilities:

• Test and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Utilize calipers, ring gauges, thread gauges, and other measurement tools to verify product dimensions
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure products conform to requirements
• Conduct visual inspections and functional tests on products
• Identify and document any defects or discrepancies in product quality
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and testing results
• Communicate any quality issues to appropriate personnel for resolution
• Stand for long periods and lift objects weighing up to 20lbs
