Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Safety and Security Patrol: Patrols campus premises on foot or vehicle to ensure the safety and security of students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Identifies and responds to potential security threats, suspicious activities, and safety hazards. Monitors access to campus buildings and facilities and ensures that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas. Directs traffic during peak hours, special events, or emergencies, ensuring smooth flow and pedestrian safety.
Emergency Response: Responds promptly to emergency calls, provides first aid or assistance as needed, and coordinates with other emergency responders when required.
Crime Prevention: Monitors access points, enforces campus policies, and addresses violations like trespassing, vandalism, and theft. Conducts security checks on buildings and facilities.
Investigations: Collects evidence, interviews witnesses, and files detailed reports for further action by campus authorities or law enforcement if necessary.
Safety Training and Awareness: Attends safety workshops, training sessions, and awareness programs related to personal safety, fire safety, and active shooter preparedness.
Communication: Maintains clear and constant communication with other Campus Safety members, campus staff, and local law enforcement to coordinate responses to incidents effectively.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in a related field, and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, or work experience.
Associate’s degree in a related field of study may be substituted for work experience.
Valid NYS drivers license.
Current New York State Security Guard registration certification required.
Physical requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, walk and stand for extended periods, and climbing of stairs.

Job Summary | The Student Services Coordinator serves in the Office of Undergraduate Student Services, located in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Nuclear Engineering. The Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of activities relating to the recruitment of new undergraduate students to the department, the retention and satisfaction of current students, and support of accreditation assessment activities. Position Purpose: Ensures the optimal functioning, safety and appearance of campus facilities through the maintenance and repairs of various physical structures throughout the College.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Facility Maintenance and Repair: Conducts routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, and structural fixtures. Addresses issues related to windows, including repairs and replacement of parts. Performs minor replacements of carpet and vinyl composition tiles as needed.
Utilities Management: Reads electric and gas meters accurately and regularly. Troubleshoots and addresses any issues related to electric and gas meters promptly. Ensures the proper functioning of utilities to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Qualifications:
