Position Title: Learning Environments Services Coordinator
Pay Status and Classification: Non-exempt, Regular Full-time
Supervisor: Manager of Learning Environments and Event Support
Position Purpose:
To provide day-to-day coordination of learning environment services and to provide Tier 2 support of technologies within electronic classrooms and other Union facilities as well as audio-visual (A/V) support for academic classes and special events. This position provides a wide range of services and support needs for the campus community.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide Tier I & Tier II support for campus-wide sound and video projection systems, electronic classrooms, and other facilities; train faculty/staff who need to use facilities; perform basic computer troubleshooting; reinstall operating systems and applications; set up computers in classrooms and labs.
Manage all Work Study student processes to include hiring, scheduling, and training. Also, regularly update Work Study student programming.
Serves as point of contact and follows all procedures for event needs and scheduling. Work with the Office of Special Events and Conferences to provide A/V equipment and planning for special events; also support work with outside vendors to provide services for campus special events.
Manage the general maintenance, documentation, and regular inspection of electronic classrooms and other facilities.
Coordinate delivery, setup, operation and retrieval of equipment for various locations on campus.
Maintain inventory and organization of all A/V, computer equipment and peripherals, including a hardware database and asset management.
Perform general office duties including data entry, filing, generating reports, meeting and greeting campus personnel.
Assist with training and successful execution of video/web conferences.
Support with developing working relationships with outside vendors and service providers and provide assistance when they are on campus, as needed.
Continually research and monitor A/V equipment needs across the Union College campus; advise Manager of Learning Environments & Event Support of needed upgrades and equipment as they arise.
Digital media management and distribution, including audio and video recording for events and speakers, dubbing, editing, and posting online.
Assist with audio and video recording of live events, with a knowledge of video editing software applications.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Applied Sciences, Computer Information Systems, Communications, or Audio Production Technologies preferred and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience.
A minimum of 1 year hands-on experience with audio, video and projection systems; 2+ years preferred.
Knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems; some understanding of networks and printers.
Proficiency with A/V and associated equipment, such as Crestron control systems.
Experience with and knowledge of sound, lighting and video systems.
Work effectively in a service-oriented environment with a variety of people and disciplines in order to respond to help requests and escalate complex issues to a higher level position as needed.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software systems to identify and resolve problems, restore service, and/or assure system integrity.
Highly detail oriented, with a critical degree of accuracy to coordinate, prioritize, and complete multiple time-critical tasks to meet classroom and special event needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem solving skills; ability to work independently and with others.
Must be safety conscious and able to work with a diverse group of individuals.
Compensation:
The rate for this position is $23.00 per hour. Assistant Football Coach - Part Time
Supervisor: Head Football Coach

Position Purpose:Under the direction of the Head Football Coach organizes, develops, and leads a highly competitive Division III football program in support of the mission and core values of Union College. The position includes secondary duties within the athletic department. The football program is a member of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III and the Liberty League. Union College sponsors 26 intercollegiate sports, 24 in Division III, with Ice Hockey competing at Division I.
As a condition of employment there is an expectation that this position will need to live in College provided housing, and will be provided with a partial College meal plan to be used when classes are in session in College dining halls.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Recruitment: Assists in recruiting and retaining top prospective student athletes who are fully engaged in the mission of Union College. Collaborates with the head coach and admissions department to arrange on-campus visits for all prospective student-athletes and their families. Ensures compliance with all recruitment policies and procedures.
Coaching:Demonstrates effective teaching methods and possesses excellent leadership. Partners with the athletics trainer to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all participants. Analyzes practice and game film using HUDL Focus software.
Student-Athlete Development:Works proactively with campus stakeholders to ensure the academic success of student-athletes. Mentors student-athletes.
Administration:Supports aspects designated by the head coach of the football program adhering to NCAA, league, and department compliance. Pitches in to assist colleagues as needed.

As a Nursing Supervisor, you will oversee the nursing staff who provide care and services to a youth and adolescent population with emotional, behavioral and mental health needs for the Residential Treatment Facility, Crisis, Miriam House, Healy House, and Residential Treatment Center programs. As a Clinician, you will provide comprehensive clinical, case planning and family support services to county residents. Position Title: Resource Management Specialist-Monographs

Position Purpose:
Acquires and makes available resources in all formats to support teaching and learning. Processes orders for requested items, replacement items, and gifts. Communicates with vendors and library staff to acquire resources and resolve problems in a timely manner. Uses a variety of tools to bring new records into the library services platform to begin and sustain workflows. Contributes to the development of general and specialized acquisitions workflows and policies. Leverages technology to streamline ordering, processing, and inventory control. Works with the Coordinated Collection Management team to review legacy formats for triage, replacement, or deselection. Works with the Collection Development Librarian to triage and select gift books for the general collection, using technology and process guidelines to ensure a streamlined workflow. Trains and supervises student assistants.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Acquire materials and resolve issues. Process all types of orders for library materials in all formats using department workflows. Perform on-demand acquisitions of materials for faculty and staff. Communicate with vendors and staff to resolve problems. Leverage technology to streamline ordering, processing, and inventory control.
Copy cataloging.Performs copy cataloging for monograph records. Identifies, downloads, and edits catalog records for library discovery. Manages the batch loading and deleting of records, utilizing specialized programs and interfaces to create, manipulate, and transfer files of records for complex maintenance routines on catalog data.
Data management. Use department workflows to import records, modify records as needed, or create brief national standard records when they cannot be downloaded from other sources. Create and edit local systems records to communicate special handling needs. Use specialized workflows to triage materials and identify issues with records. Perform copy cataloging on materials, including special formats, as needed.
Collection maintenance.Pre-process gifts and produce reports to guide collection development decision-making. Review legacy formats and produce reports to guide triage, replacement, or deselection processes. Work with Collection Development Librarian to assess missing items for replacement or withdrawal. Perform basic book repair.
Collaboration.Works closely with the Coordinated Collection Management team, Catalog & Metadata Librarian, Collection Development Librarian, and Access Services department to execute projects. Contacts vendors and publishers to facilitate orders and resolve problems. Supervise students as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 year related work experience (procurement, library technology, etc.) and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience.
Supervisory experience is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Suite products.
Ability to learn new skills and systems and develop new workflows to accommodate new systems and services required.
Library acquisition experience and general knowledge of the current publishing industry are highly desirable.
Knowledge of MARC and/or other national standards for bibliographic information and data sharing are preferred.
Ability to use independent judgment, solve problems, manage details, and make decisions preferred.
Ability to be an effective member of a working team required.
Solid communication and conflict resolution skills required.
Service oriented and good public relations skills required to represent Union College to outside vendors and internal constituents required.
Compensation:
The hourly range for this position is $21.40 per hour. Position Title: Director of International Student Services
Pay Status and Classification: Exempt, Regular Full-time
Supervisor: Head Class Dean
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Documentation and Compliance: Issues immigration documents and processes applications through the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). Maintains accurate records of international students immigration documentation within SEVIS and College systems. Ensures compliance with federal regulations and College policies pertaining to international students. Guides students through new employee hiring processes for on-campus employment, including applying for a social security number. Works closely with Class Deans to ensure proper understanding and application of regulations and policies, taking appropriate initiative and exercising discretion within the scope of assigned duties.
Student Advising and Support:Advises and assists international students on a variety of matters including immigration and visa regulations and applications, cultural adjustment, personal matters, financial concerns, and College procedures. Refers students to appropriate campus resources. Conducts individual and group advising meetings with students to address any questions or concerns. Advocates for the needs of international students by informing campus policies and practices.
Programming and Engagement: Oversees the development and execution of orientation programs for new international students. Works with other departments to provide tailored programming to ensure students understand Title IX, the Code of Conduct, and the Honor Code. Creates and implements initiatives beyond orientation that support the retention, well-being, and academic success of international students. Collaborates with campus partners to enhance career readiness, wellness, cultural exchange, and social engagement opportunities.
Administration:Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy for international student services. Maintains and updates policies and procedures. Produces departmental communications, including newsletters, website content, and student resources. Manages the department budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources. Manages programming and event logistics. Actively participates in professional development on the regulations governing international students about College policies and procedures that ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree and experience working with international students in higher education, and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident in order to serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) and an Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO), as required by federal regulations.
Strong knowledge of SEVIS, F-1 and J-1 visa regulations, and international student compliance requirements.
The ability to work evening and weekend hours is required, especially during Orientation and during other critical times during the academic year. Must be available on-call during peak travel times.
