We are seeking a high energy, motivated Night Warehouse Supervisor in our Coxsackie, NY Distribution Center.
The primary duties of the Night Shift Supervisor will strive to achieve the production and
distribution objectives of the company using supervisory methods and coaching techniques. Is
responsible for warehouse training, developing warehouse personnel to ensure accurate, on
time, and damage free movement of product shipped out of the warehouse. Will help build a
team environment of well-trained employees. Employ excellent communication skills to facilitate
completion of night shift job duties. Follow and promote the accepted safety practices to
maintain a safe working environment. Emphasis will be placed on proper truck loading and
breakage and damaged product control ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Position will also learn the processes and serve as a back up to the night managers in the areas
of shift production set up; understanding how to and executing on waving, label creation, job
assignment, invoicing, and other administrative tasks as needed to ensure successful night shift
work completion in the absence of the night shift Manager.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESULTS
• Must be able to multi-task and stay on top of highly complex processes with a large
amount of data.
• Must be able to maintain composure and stay focused in times of stress.
• Must be able to recognize problems at an early stage and be able to communicate and
trouble shoot to resolve the problems.
• Must possess good communication skills to keep night management fully apprised of
situations that arise. When necessary, will need to contact technical support to resolve
system and software problems.
• Supervises warehouse union employees. Working knowledge and a thorough
understanding of the Collective Bargaining Unit Contract is required.
• Expected to provide staff coaching for improvement as well as praise for a job well done.
• Works with all hourly employees to insure the accurate picking of orders and proper
loading of trucks.
• Must have knowledge of SAP, Lucas, and all warehouse management systems.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules,
and regulations
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises members of the night warehouse team. Works closely with Management to direct the
workflow in an efficient and professional manner. Is responsible for providing effective
leadership while fostering a positive team environment and providing overall direction,
coordination, and evaluation of the department. Performs supervisory responsibilities in
accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are
not limited to training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; recognizing,
rewarding, and coaching; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Serves as the main receptionist and interacts with students, student staff, parents, and other campus constituencies daily. Identifies and articulates student needs and collaborates with appropriate residential staff to provide an effective institutional response. Keeps sensitive information private and confidential. Supports the Associate Director of Housing Operations with all operational tasks associated with the office. Carries out the mission of Union College and the Division of Student Affairs.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administration: Maintains a neat and orderly office environment, befitting a space used as a student resource center. Publishes and maintains an accurate directory of all ResEd staff. Coordinates and/or initiates calendar scheduling as requested; makes sure meeting attendees know the location or zoom link. Supports and implements logistics for ResEd programs and events (ex. catering, space reservations, set-up/tear down). Supports administrative processes such as move-in/out, residence transition periods, life & safety inspections, and roster verifications. Manages campus-wide laundry program, including audits and maintenance reports for entire residential areas. Serves as the primary point of contact for the laundry company and maintenance workers. - Purchasing Support:Oversees processing payments and reconciliations. Tracks spending trends and recommendations as needed to support the budgetary health of the overall program. Supports purchasing through best practices and preferred vendors. Ensures appropriate inventory of supplies and makes orders as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or two to four years of administrative experience, preferably in an educational or related environment, and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience.

Compensation
The rate for this position is $24.00 - $26.25 per hour. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Job Summary | The Assistant Director (AD) of Student Activities is responsible for planning, facilitating and assisting in the coordination of student club programs on campus. Job Summary | The Program Administrator, Sr manages activities of the Center of Excellence in Digital Game Development at RPI, also known as the Digital Gaming Hub, administered through the Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences Program in the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. Supervisor: Chief Information Officer
Position Purpose:Manages the Client Services and Learning Environments team, handling both personnel and financial aspects. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business Administration, and a minimum of 5 years of successful management experience in a service-oriented technology environment, and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience. Associate Director for Greek Leadership

Supervisor: Director of Residential Education
Position Purpose: Oversees and directs the operations, vision, and programs for Greek life at Union College by facilitating an environment where members of the Greek community can be challenged and supported in their personal growth, efforts, and experiences. Serves as a trusted advisor to students. Shares responsibility with other Associate Directors for residential student staff processes (such as room selection, recruitment, selection, hiring, training, and ongoing development). - Greek Community Development & Engagement: Creates a vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive environment for Greek organizations. Manages and supervises the activities of and provides guidance to various National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities, North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) fraternities, National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO) organizations as well as local/unaffiliated organizations. Coordinates recruitment/intake and the annual review processes for all student Greek letter organizations. Designs and implements leadership development programs for the Greek community, including programming in the areas of risk management, membership recruitment/intake and education; problem resolution, and community planning.
- Supervision: Supervises the Community Director for Greek Houses. Indirectly supervises Greek house managers and part-time party monitors. Guides and supports the community director and student staff community development efforts, including the implementation of curricular engagement guides and corresponding assessments.
- Student Health and Safety: Monitors and intervenes with students who may be struggling academically and/or with other behavioral and developmental issues. Refers accordingly to services as needed. Participates in regular professional staff on-call rotation, providing crisis intervention and serving as a resource or referral agent. Understands and enforces Code of Student Conduct and other policies regarding behavior, safety, security, health, and other matters in cooperation with the appropriate offices. Serves as a campus judicial hearing officer. Participates in CARE team meetings and provides culturally responsive support to students.
- Collaboration: Builds relationships with alumni, donors, and other stakeholders to advance the Greek Life program and support its mission. Works in collaboration with designated staff in College Relations to interface with fraternity and sorority alumni. Serves as the liaison to national organizations, chapter advisors, and other College departments.
- Administration: Holds regular office hours to address student and staff needs. Manages the budget for the Greek Life department, allocating resources to support programming, events, and operational expenses. Attends campus community events. Qualifications:

Job Summary | The Director of the Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship (the “Severino Center”) will work with the Assistant Vice President, RPIVentures (“RPIV”) and the Vice President, Office of Strategic Alliances and Translation (“OSAT”) in shaping and advancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem at RPI and the region. In collaboration with RPIV, they will develop a strategic vision for the Severino Center, aligning it with the Institute’s priorities and entrepreneurship programs. Job Summary | The Director of Real Estate directs all activities associated with land management/leases; real estate revenue activities; building and land acquisition/sales; building and land appraisals; all Rensselaer property-related tax payments; Rensselaer tax exemption requirements; and special activities, that include leases and subleases of external facilities, fraternity/sorority land/building leases and finances; estate activities and community issues. About EMPAC | Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center “The concert hall of the 21st century has arrived. But in addition, the huge building, laid out on a hillside, houses a 400-seat theater with comparable versatility; two black-box studios, one geared more toward sound, the other toward sight; and space for rehearsals and other uses. And for their electronic and data needs, all these components have access to one of the world’s biggest supercomputers.” The New York Times (10/08/2008) At the Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Institute), the arts, sciences, and technology meet under one roof in four exceptional venues. This incredible 220,000 square foot building, designed by London-based Grimshaw Architects, opened in 2008 and is an unmatched model of acoustics, infrastructure, and architectural engineering with state-of-the-art performing arts infrastructure and architectural engineering. EMPAC’s concert hall features 1,165 seats with the ability to sculpt the acoustical soundscape for musical performances and equipment for screens, projections, and staging elements. The Goodman Studio/Theater and Studio 2 are versatile spaces that can be used to create immersive experiences utilizing both projection and sound technology. EMPAC’s theater features computer-controlled rigging, a sixty-foot fly tower, and advanced recording audio and video recording technology. Job Summary | The Executive Director of EMPAC will guide and deliver on its mission and vision as a global center at the intersection of the arts, science, and technology. They will be accountable for a strategic direction, business model, and adaptive change that are in alignment with the Institute’s Rensselaer Forward plan, including the goal to create the most welcoming and inclusive community possible for faculty, staff, students, and the external community EMPAC serves. The Executive Director will maintain a presence both on and off campus by actively participating in the community and establishing international visibility at relevant conferences and other events that increase exposure and access to artists that could curate, produce, or be presented by EMPAC. These activities are focused on preserving an integrated interdisciplinary pedagogical approach to research, programs, and campus events that inspire active participation by faculty and students in and attendance at EMPAC. The Executive Director will partner with each of the School Deans and Institute Administration to coordinate student learning outcomes, activating EMPAC as a hub for student learning on campus. They will oversee, inspire, and collaborate with a dedicated staff while investing in them and securing the resources that ensure EMPAC remains at the forefront of technological advancements. In collaboration with Institute Advancement and the President, the Executive Director will establish and maintain a portfolio of donor relationships that support the capital and operating needs of EMPAC, including its facilities, programs, and research. Qualifications | Qualifications The successful candidate will have a minimum of a master’s degree, or equivalent experience, and 8-10 years of senior management expertise in commissioning, promoting, programming, producing, and/or presenting contemporary music, theater, dance, multi-media, or other experimental creative industry initiatives. A comprehensive understanding of associated production, capacity utilization (both venue and staff), audience development, and venue management is important. Director of Equal Opportunity and Title IX Coordinator

Position Purpose: Under general direction by the Vice President and Chief of Staff, Office of the President, works collaboratively with various departments, including Student Affairs, Human Resources, Academic Affairs, Campus Safety and the Chief Diversity Officer to ensure the College’s adherence to Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Amendments to the Clery Act, New York State Education Law Article 129-B, and other federal and state laws governing gender-based misconduct, discrimination, harassment and equal opportunity. Plays a pivotal role in fostering and securing a nurturing environment conducive to academic and personal growth of all College community members.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Compliance: Facilitates compliance with all procedures, requirements and timeframes outlined in the College’s Title IX Policy, Gender-based Misconduct Policy, and the Policy Prohibiting Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation in Employment. Leads an effort to review and revise policies in response to changes in governing laws, regulations, and guidance. Coordinates with local organizations and service providers to ensure our community members have access to confidential resources. Compensation
The annual salary range this position is $115,000.00 - $123,000.00. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Athletics Equipment Manager
Supervisor: Assistant Director of Athletics - Business Operations
Pay status and classification: Exempt, Regular full-time. This is a 12-month position.
Position Purpose: Oversees, organizes, and directs all aspects of the athletics equipment area in support of the mission and core values of Union College. Union College sponsors 26 intercollegiate sports, 24 in Division III, with Ice Hockey competing at Division I.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operations: Manages the day to day services of the athletics equipment room. Coordinates laundry room operations with coaches to ensure needs are met. Maintains inventory for accurate equipment and apparel records. Oversees distribution, collection and maintenance of records. Collaborates with Hockey Equipment Manager to ensure successful oversight of services for programs.
- Safety: Ensures proper fitting and adjustment of equipment for intercollegiate programs to provide a safe environment for student-athletes. Ensures all equipment and apparel is ready for safe use and remains current with industry standards for safety. Successfully maintains Athletic Equipment Manager Association (AEMA) certification.
- Administration: Oversees the purchasing of equipment and apparel for intercollegiate sport programs. Collaborates with coaches for program needs, create purchase orders, projecting apparel and equipment budgets. Builds relationships with athletics vendors. Continually evaluates policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness of equipment room operations. Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates staff of work-study workers. Adheres to NCAA, College and athletic department policies. Pitches in to assist colleagues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of successful experience in athletics equipment operations and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience, including football and ice hockey.
- Knowledge of maintaining equipment for ice hockey and football to ensure safety.
- Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA certification) or the intent to complete the certification once eligible.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends for equipment operations at practices and games, which include home and away contests.
- Ability to lift moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.), and stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of time.
- Must possess or obtain a valid New York State driver’s license.
- Thorough understanding and working knowledge of federal, state, local, and NCAA, rules, policies and procedures.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including attention to detail.
- Effective computer skills for maintaining accurate records, budget forecasting and purchasing of equipment and apparel.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and be self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Able to exercise exceptional judgment, ensure strict confidentiality, and demonstrate outstanding professionalism in a range of situations.
- Able to support, contribute to, and strengthen a vibrant, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community of students, alumni, faculty, and fellow professionals.
