POSITION OVERVIEW

Residential Assistant Supervisor -

Albany residential has an immediate need for a full-time ResidentialAssistant Supervisor. This position is responsible for supervising direct care staff as well as working as part of the direct care team who collectively provide daily therapeutic care and programming according to agency policy and regulation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervising program activity as related to client treatment plans
  • Supervision and evaluation of direct care staff
  • Working as part of staff-to-youth ratio and on-call system, mentoring and training staff
  • Assisting in crisis intervention as needs
  • Other administrative tasks related to running the unit

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires an Associate’s degree plus 3 years of experience, Bachelor’s degree preferred, OR high school plus at least 5 years of experience
  • Related experience with vulnerable populations/older adolescent population is required
  • Must have supervisory experience or demonstrated ability to manage a residential unit
  • Must have valid, clean driver’s license
  • Ability to work variable shifts required including evenings, weekends and holidays
