Company Description:

Maley & Wertz, a leading hardwood lumber manufacturer, is currently seeking a Truck Driver for its manufacturing facility in Evansville, IN. Our drivers are home every night! We are a family owned company that was established in 1885.

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role located in Evansville, IN for a Local CDL Class A Truck Driver. The Truck Driver will be responsible for operating a truck, ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods, unloading cargo, and adhering to DOT regulations. Daily tasks include routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining logs of working hours, and reporting mechanical issues to maintain the safety and efficiency of operations.

Qualifications:

Valid CDL Class A license and truck driving experience
Proficiency in unloading cargo and handling goods
Knowledge of and adherence to DOT regulations
Ability to perform routine maintenance and safety checks on trucks
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and onsite
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent
