Responsible of all construction surveys ensuring compliance to all applicable regulations and requirements, communicate with clients and project teams to understand the goals, challenges, schedule, budget, and expectations of the project; review/verify project information and prepare reports, budgets and 3D BIM models utilizing specific Spanish design and calculation programs such as Clip, Istram/Ispol, Amberg, Civil 3D, and MDT for Spanish companies that are currently working in the United States to determine the survey needs of these projects; conduct research to obtain the appropriate records, survey control data, and other pertinent information from various sources for pre-construction surveys, layout data and as-built surveys, location of right of way and utility locations; responsible for the planning and maintenance of survey control networks, including least-squares adjustment of static-GPS observations; determine survey equipment needs for each project and adopt the company's digital delivery standards;  develop Standard Operating Procedures for the Survey Department, which shall adopt industry's digital delivery techniques; collaborate with CAD/BIM personnel in the development and enforcement of the BIM Execution Plan across the project technical office; develop component-based 3D models (BIM Models) and layout data for machine control and survey field personnel; create and submit drawings in compliance with the project digital delivery standards; process data from the field and photogrammetric data from UAVs; track project progress on earthworks, paving quantities and other project pay-items using survey methods. Prepare monthly and/or quarterly reports for the Project Management; prepare and submit RFIs related to the design information, when needed; maintain the database of the assets of the infrastructure project in a GIS platform, such as QGIS or ArcGIS.

Requirements:

Associates Degree in Surveying Engineering Technology or equivalent foreign degree

2 years of experience as Survey Manager

Must have knowledge in BIM
