Job Summary:

The Risk Manager role will be responsible for administering company-wide Department of Transportation (DOT) and fleet safety programs, ensuring compliance with all local, state, federal, and FMCSA regulations. This position will foster a culture of risk awareness and accountability by optimizing program efficiency, developing, implementing relevant procedures, and training. Additionally, the role will involve supporting incident and claims management, as well as executing insurance-related programs. This position can be filled in SD, ND, MN, or KS.

 The hiring range for this position is $75,000-$115,000. This range is inclusive of multiple locations. The actual base salary offered will be determined based on multiple factors including internal equity, location, and the individual’s job-related knowledge, skills and experience. 

In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based on company and/or individual performance. 

Responsibilities:

• Enhance the organization's DOT compliance programs to achieve satisfactory safety scores, including maintaining driver qualification files, managing hours of service, assessing ELD needs, and creating an automated daily vehicle inspection program.
• Administer the company’s DOT drug and alcohol program.
• Investigate serious injuries or fatalities in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Manage motor vehicle records (MVR) monitoring program for all Midco drivers. Administer suitable driving clearance for candidates and current team members, as it relates to their record of violations and accidents.
• Leverage expertise in fleet management and safety platform software systems to implement and administer telematics and dashcam programs.
• Formulate Department of Transportation (DOT) and fleet safety policies, programs, and procedures focused on risk mitigation. Deliver training to leaders in accordance with relevant state and federal regulations.
• Monitor potential risks using internal metrics and industry benchmarks, and maintain awareness of risk trends and challenges, considering internal operations.
• Communicate trends and programs to leaders and business partners throughout the organization.
• Provides support for incidents and claims management, including workers compensation, auto, and property.
• Assists in executing insurance-related programs, including administering Certificates of Insurance (COIs), Surety Bonds, and managing insurance renewals.

• Ensure customer privacy by adhering to Midco’s privacy guidelines while actively following Midco policies and procedures.
• Be available to provide assistance to team members outside of normal business hours as necessary.

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, business administration, finance, or similar discipline.
• Minimum of five years of DOT, fleet safety and/or risk management experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Demonstrated history of employing methods, techniques, and procedures to ensure driver compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment: 

• The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
• May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
• Up to 10% of travel is required.

JOB PURPOSE:

Network Security is an essential element to Midco success in our evolving, digital world. The Network Security Technicians are an integral part of protecting Midco’s vast network. They will play a hands-on role in security administration, maintenance, and recommendation innovative solutions to keep our network secure. 

KEY FUNCTIONS:

• Participate in the installation and ongoing maintenance of Midco security systems, and actively support various groups within Midco by helping to resolve escalated security issues and problems.
• Administration of systems by creating new policies, modifying existing policies, searching event logs, traffic logs, and reporting.
• Troubleshooting of routing and switching to identify, isolate, and resolve security issues.
• Review daily activity of virus/malware, phishing, identity theft and other risks and escalate accordingly
• Resolve security tickets and respond to emails promptly.
• Provide escalation support for other team members.
• Maintain network security by regularly monitoring all access points.
• Create documentation of existing processes and exceptions based on audit findings
• Audit security controls to ensure they are working correctly.
• Build and maintain security diagrams
• Install and run ethernet or fiber cable for new security solutions.
• Utilize training resources to develop network and security related skills.
• Provide effective “on call” support and be prepared to work other than regular business hours, as necessary.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of orders and the management of product returns. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, this position is responsible for managing and coordinating the ticketing system for our warehouse operations. Job Summary:

As a Field Technician at Midco, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot services to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your duties include conducting technical assessments, managing service installations and disconnections, and repairing network issues for both residential and business customers. • Conduct accurate and comprehensive technical evaluations of commercial properties for service feasibility, providing an assessment of internal costs.
• Perform installation tasks, including voice, video, and data installations, as well as service changes and disconnects, in both customer homes and business locations.
• Troubleshoot and repair services from the tap to Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), resolve signal leakage issues, and ensure optimal signal levels and picture quality on all television sets.
• Act as a proactive liaison between Field Operations and Business Services to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Promote Midco’s services and educate customers on their proper use, including adding additional services, accessing online help, understanding channel lineups, and using equipment correctly.
• Offer technical support and guidance to key internal stakeholders, particularly regarding network extensions and bury drop requirement

• Log all required information on work orders, surveys, and referrals to ensure customer interactions and requests are properly addressed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer-facing environment is a plus. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

Work Environment:

• In-person visits to a customer’s home or place of business are common. Specific abilities required include accessing a customer's home or place of business by stairs or elevator, operating doors or other entrances, and navigating hallways and buildings.

Physical Demands:

• Be able to safely use a ladder rated for a maximum load of 375 lbs., including the combined weight of the individual, fall protection equipment, and any tools being carried.

• Must lift and carry loads up to 80 lbs. and separately handle a 75 lbs. ladder.
• Must be able to climb poles, ladders, bucket trucks, and other structures with proper fall protection equipment, adhering to the manufacturer's capacity for all equipment.
• Must be able to work from elevated heights (bucket trucks, aerial lifts) and in tight spaces such as attics and crawlspaces.
• Bucket trucks have a maximum load capacity ranging from 300 to 400 lbs. based on the manufacturer's specifications for each vehicle. Team members certified for bucket truck use are responsible for being aware of and adhering to these maximum load requirements.
