InsurePlus is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee various initiatives within our dynamic insurance business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects across multiple departments, ensuring timely execution, and aligning business objectives with operational strategies. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive project success by coordinating teams, optimizing workflows, and ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards.

As a Project Manager at InsurePlus, you will play a pivotal role in executing projects related to technology upgrades, process improvements, regulatory compliance, and customer experience enhancements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, data analytics, underwriting, and finance, to ensure efficient project execution and alignment with the company’s goals.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.

• Lead project teams through the entire lifecycle, from initiation to completion.

• Ensure projects align with InsurePlus’s business objectives and compliance requirements.

Team & Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate with department heads, executives, and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.

• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to bridge gaps in understanding.

• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure all team members meet deadlines.

• Conduct regular meetings to provide status updates and address project roadblocks.

Risk & Quality Management

• Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve project challenges.

• Ensure that all projects adhere to quality standards and regulatory guidelines.

• Maintain project documentation, reports, and post-project evaluations to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Process Improvement & Innovation

• Continuously seek opportunities to optimize workflows and improve efficiency in project management.

• Implement best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance project success rates.

• Drive innovation by recommending new strategies to improve insurance product offerings and customer engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, or a related field. A PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the insurance, finance, or technology sector.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.

  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project methodologies.

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
