Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for a Commercial Workout Manager.  The primary function of this role is to manage and optimize HVCU’s commercial lending portfolio by developing, recommending, and implementing effective workout strategies for commercial loans and mortgages. This includes monitoring accounts to ensure timely debt repayment or strategic asset liquidation, with the goal of minimizing loss and maximizing recovery. The position involves thorough analysis of loan accounts to determine optimal resolutions while maintaining strict compliance with federal and state regulations as well as HVCU policies. Additional duties include conducting site visits, participating in member meetings, and providing ongoing support to the Director of Member Debt Solutions and the Chief Credit Officer.

• Oversee a portfolio of criticized/classified small business, SBA, participation, and commercial loans, ensuring effective resolution and performance tracking.
• Lead workout strategies for distressed commercial loans, including restructuring, repayment plans, and asset liquidation to mitigate risk and maximize recovery.
• Conduct in-depth financial reviews of borrowers and guarantors, assess repayment capacity, and prepare thorough credit presentations aligned with HVCU standards.
