Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for a Commercial Workout Manager.  The primary function of this role is to manage and optimize HVCU’s commercial lending portfolio by developing, recommending, and implementing effective workout strategies for commercial loans and mortgages. Primary Function: Perform in-depth commercial credit analyses, generally on the more complex or time sensitive files, on a timely basis that are consistent with HVCU format, policy and procedures, including making recommendations on approval and determining appropriate risk ratings for all types of commercial products, with little guidance from the Commercial Lending leadership team.

The salary range for this role is between $88,000.00 and $104,500.00 annuallly. 

• Perform in-depth commercial credit analyses, generally on the more complex and time sensitive files that are consistent with HVCU format, policy and procedures, comprehensive and contain thorough and relevant analysis, and are free of typographical, grammatical and mathematical errors that require limited or no editing by the Supervisor, Commercial Credit/AVP, Commercial Lending.  To include identifying recurring and non-recurring sources of cash flow, the Borrower’s ability to cover debt service, and the ability of the guarantor to support the Borrower.

Primary Function: perform a variety of administrative operational duties and serve as a resource specialist by responding to internal and external member service requests. • Develop, document, and maintain enterprise-wide Security Solution Architecture frameworks aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements. Ensure that all technology solutions meet company security standards and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with the SVP of Enterprise Architecture to establish long-term security strategies that support the organization’s growth, innovation, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Conduct detailed threat modeling, risk analysis, and security gap assessments for new and existing systems. Recommend practical solutions and mitigation strategies, and ensure these are integrated into architectural designs.

Responsibilities: supervise the daily operations and staff related to the underwriting of home equity loans and lines of credit. Responsible for promoting excellence in underwriting standards and ensuring adherence to Credit Union policies, department procedures and internal guidelines.

• Interview, hire, and develop home equity underwriting staff and conduct individual performance reviews. Build employee engagement through consistent communication, coaching and reinforcement of organizational values and modeling of critical behaviors.
• Set clear expectations to monitor and coach staff contributions to Real Estate Lending department goals. Conduct regular one on one meetings with home equity underwriting staff.
• Respond to internal and external customers regarding complaints, problem resolution, home equity underwriting guideline clarification and procedural issues.
• Monitor home equity loan queues and ensure adequate

• Interview, hire, and develop home equity underwriting staff and conduct individual performance reviews. Build employee engagement through consistent communication, coaching and reinforcement of organizational values and modeling of critical behaviors.
• Set clear expectations to monitor and coach staff contributions to Real Estate Lending department goals. Conduct regular one on one meetings with home equity underwriting staff.
• Respond to internal and external customers regarding complaints, problem resolution, home equity underwriting guideline clarification and procedural issues.
• Monitor home equity loan queues and ensure adequate
• Initiate and implement process improvement to enhance employee and member experience and increase department efficiencies.
• Participate in developing/enhancing home equity products and procedures.
• Collaborate with post-closing QC auditor and provide timely responses on errors monthly and communicate results to staff.
• Monitor underwriters’ approved loan dispositions to ensure adherence to Credit Union issued loan approval authority. Approve loans within Credit Union loan approval Conduct second review of declined home equity applications.
• Lead weekly underwriting meetings to ensure underwriting review consistency and discuss any issues or concerns.
• Perform loan origination system (LOS) update functions for home equity product guidelines, rate changes, document updates and other loan parameter changes. Coordinate testing of updates in LOS prior to production implementation.
• Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Supervisor Payment Operations. Primary Function: Oversee the daily operations of the payment processing team, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution of transaction processing. Responsible for overseeing staff productivity, resolving escalations, and collaborating with internal departments to support business objectives and member satisfaction.

• Supervise and lead a team of payment operations specialists, providing coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities.
• Monitor daily payment processing activities including ACH, wire transfers, check processing, and internal settlements.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements (e.g., NACHA, PCI-DSS), and industry standards.
• Identify and support process inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance accuracy, speed, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with IT, Risk, Compliance, and Customer Service teams to resolve issues and support cross-functional initiatives.
• Maintain and update SOPs, training materials, and audit documentation.
• Prepare and analyze operational reports, KPIs, and metrics to inform leadership and help inform strategic decisions.
• Manage internal escalations and exceptions, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
• Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new payment technologies or platforms.
• Participate in audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reviews as needed.
