BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains, organizes, and cleans all necessary items and areas in the Spa. Ensures all supplies guests use are restocked and all areas are continuously monitored for cleanliness.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Wear Proper Protective Equipment when performing tasks that recommend such equipment.
- Operate vehicles safely while driving and/or parking in compliance with Mohonk Mountain House Traffic Rules and Regulations.
- Identify safety hazards, report, and follow up to see that corrective action is taken.
- Inform supervisor of hazardous situations, emergencies or threats to the security of guests, employees, or hotel assets.
- Demonstrate organizational skills.
- Work productively with or without supervision when performing routine tasks.
- Prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Adhere to Mohonk Mountain House’s Dress and Grooming Standards; presenting a neat, clean and well groomed appearance and maintaining a positive, professional image to our customers.
- Learn and successfully demonstrate the Mohonk Mountain House Service Steps with Service Strategies with guests and staff.
- Maintain a flexible work schedule including days/nights, weekdays/weekends, holidays, and during peak periods of business.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other staff.
- Attend events, programs, and trainings as needed to enforce and support Mohonk Mountain House policies and culture.
- Attend trainings as needed to develop work knowledge and safety.
- Reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, stoop, twist and flex arms, walk up and down stairs/inclines, sit, climb up/down ladders or stand for up to 5 hours at a time.
- Lift up to 50 pounds from ground level to four feet and carry a distance of up to 50 feet with/without assistance. Walk up to 3 miles per day.
- Maneuver carts or dollies safely with loads up to 200 pounds through passageways, elevators, or outdoors up to 100 feet.
- See close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Work under stress from contact with public, demanding deadlines, and changing priorities and conditions.
- Clean designated areas according to set guidelines and protocols.
- Work outdoors and exposed to natural elements.
- Fold laundry as specified to type ranging from small items such as washcloths to large blankets and towels.
- Operate laundry equipment effectively and within specified guidelines.
- Sort soiled laundry appropriately and efficiently.
- Complete shift check list for duties assigned for opening or closing shifts.
- Sanitize touch point areas wearing appropriate protective equipment and complete check list daily.
- Inspect the work of others by touch, sight, sound and smell for conformance to prescribed standards.
- Report damaged or missing furnishings or decorative items.
- Complete guest and staff requests in a timely manner. Report to a supervisor if a request will not be completed in a timely manner.
- Attend daily shift briefing.
- Complete routine and when necessary deep cleaning of areas as required.
- Sanitize hydrotherapy tub as needed following protocols and wearing protective equipment.
- Stock tea bars, guest locker room amenities, supply closets, and towel storage as assigned.
- Speak, read and write the English language and communicate in a clear and congenial manner, with our guests, visitors and employees. Hear verbal instructions, directions and warnings.
- Act calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Analyze problems and develop and implement action plans to address problems.
- Demonstrate high moral character in handling lost items and valuables turning them in immediately to designated lost and found area.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with guests and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Driver’s License and at least 21 years of age with at least two years of licensed driving experience.

Build bench strength and support succession planning model through continuous coaching and development of direct reports across multiple sites. Drive process improvement through consistent analysis methods and standards, identify best practices, benchmarks, and areas for improvement to balance cost, service, and productivity. Implement continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives, by educating and influencing operational leaders to improve performance metrics. Maintain continuous focus to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, reduce cost, grow revenue, improve performance, quality, and productivity. Establish and maintain effective cross functional relationships with business partners including internal/external customers through education and influence to improve performance metrics. Provide engineering support in facility expansion, warehouse automation and new DC start-up project. Create a culture and environment where teams are inspired to creatively take risks in search of diverse ideas for improving operational process efficiencies. Influence strategy for area/team. Benchmark and align facility metrics, processes, tools to identify opportunities and standardize operating procedures. Create database models and provide analytical support to the management in driving data centric decisions. Must appear in office 4 days per week: WFH permissible 1 day per week.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Industrial Engineering or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in Industrial Engineering or related role or in the job offered. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field and three (3) years of experience in Industrial Engineering or related role or in the job offered. Any suitable combination of education, experience, or training acceptable.
Experience and/or education must include:
Time Studies to conduct job specific standards and determine how long tasks should take for associates; MOST sequencing.
Manhattan warehouse management system for integrating labor management and optimizing of workflow, including experience with input of standards, creating locations and travel for associate accurate production values;
Product Flow: Understanding how units and packages flow throughout the building to create the most efficient process to save cost and knowledge of rates specific to each DCs ASRS, Exotech, Kindred orbs, and accutech autobaggers.
Continuous improvement: Experience offsetting new continuous improvement cost vs inflation;
Facility Design: Design and implement conveyors and technology in the most ergonomic and cost-efficient way, utilizing AutoCAD knowledge.
Work area Layout: Designing the most cost-effective station layout that increase production; knowledge of volume relativity and work station usage to offset capital cost.
Access/Excel to mine data and present it in a legible format to determine trends and create process improvement.

We are a very busy Insurance Restoration Company located in Dutchess County, and we are seeking Full Time and Part Time Restoration Technicians and Helpers to service our massive territory!
We specialize in Water, Mold, Fire/Smoke, Contents, and Reconstruction as well as having a large landscaping company. We are NEVER short of work and are always looking to expand our services and need the right Techs to help get us there!
Technicians will preferably hold certifications with the IICRC for WRT/ASD (additional certificates a bonus!) and be willing to get a NYS mold license if not already acquired. Valid driver's license a MUST and bonus points if you can pull a trailer.
Helpers do not need experience but must have a good work ethic, a desire to learn, gain experience, and an eagerness to become a technician! Valid driver's license a plus and bonus points if you can pull a trailer.
Requirements for Technicians:
- Being available during normal operating hours which are considered Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. As well as an "on call" schedule for after hour and weekend emergencies.
- Responsible for setting and keeping appointments with insureds and adjusters and having an open line of communication during the claim process.
- Notating all job milestones on appropriate platforms per claim and insurance company SLA’s
- Collecting all necessary claim information, photographs per insurance requirements, accurate measurements, and signed contracts.
- Uploading required 24-hour reports which include moisture mappings, sketch, photos, and notes in insurance company required programs.
- Keeping all IICRC and NYS certifications current, completing all companywide training requirements, and CEC's.
- Keeping all uniforms clean, company equipment cleaned, maintained and in working order, company vehicles clean and logging maintenance repairs.
Requirements for Helpers:
- Being on time and available during normal operating hours which are considered Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. As well as an "on call" schedule for after hour and weekend emergencies to assist the technician.
- Keeping all uniforms clean, company equipment clean and in working order, company vehicles clean and logging maintenance repairs.
