Job Title: Office Manager
Location: Millbrook, NY
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager with a background in restaurant operations to manage bookkeeping, HR, payroll, and administrative tasks. Knowledge of New York State Labor Law and strong QuickBooks Desktop skills are essential.
Office Manager Qualifications:
Proven experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and HR, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and strong knowledge of NYS Labor Law.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
Office Manager Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping: accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, bank deposits, and reconciliations.
Oversee HR tasks: new hire paperwork, employee onboarding, ACA compliance, and annual training.
Handle payroll and insurance audits, track financial activity for multiple locations, and manage tenant and rental issues.
Administer liquor license renewals, process sales tax returns, and manage credit card chargebacks.
Oversee vendor relations, health insurance plans, and banking issues.

Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Knowledge Management Specialist. Primary Function: Responsible for administration of HVCU's Knowledge Management System (KMS). This includes facilitating the documentation of knowledge content, managing change processes, handling feedback and ticket management, and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of procedures, forms, and other knowledge articles.
Responsibilities
Oversee updates to the KMS design and develop knowledge content strategies. Ensure the KMS is appropriately defined, designed, tested, and integrated. Facilitate the production of high-quality documentation that meets organizational standards, based on the intended audience.
Administer KMS feedback and ticket management, including assignment, review, adherence to service level agreements, dashboard review, and reporting.
Identify new resources, documents, and tools for inclusion in the KMS. Apply technical expertise to develop and deploy process capabilities that support Knowledge Management (KM) initiatives. Assist in defining the scope for knowledge management projects.
Evaluate program effectiveness through measurement and statistical analysis. Investigate new tools, technology, methodologies, and best practices to enhance organizational knowledge. Monitor and report on site usage analytics.
Train content authors and standardize organizational policies and procedures. Partner with subject matter experts to ensure the KMS provides accurate and timely information.
Manage the KMS content change process and employee communication, addressing key barriers to change and developing effective approaches. Ensure timely and thorough communications.
Participate in team projects and deliverables, consulting with leadership, subject matter experts to gather accurate process and procedure details. Apply project management methodologies to oversee the completion of operational knowledge projects.
Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

This professional will spearhead the management of key projects tied to the digital roadmap and the continuous enhancement of our online and mobile banking services—critical touchpoints that define our digital member experience. The Digital Product Manager will champion the development of innovative features, guiding them from conception to launch in partnership with our Technology Organization. Additionally, this professional will collaborate with business stakeholders, align product vision with business objectives, ensuring that every initiative delivers tangible value to both the business and our members.
