Coordinator of Liberty Partnerships Program (Part-Time)
The Liberty Partnerships Program (LPP) is a collaboration involving SUNY Orange, the Newburgh Enlarged City School District (NFA Main/North High Schools, Heritage/South Middle Schools) and the Boys and Girls Club of Newburgh.
As a New York State Education Department grant-funded initiative, the Liberty Partnerships Program is a comprehensive academic excellence program targeted at both urban and rural, middle and high school students. The program's purpose is to ensure that the youth of the Liberty Partnerships Program graduate from high school and enter post-secondary education and the workforce as highly competent and compassionate young adults.
SUNY Orange is currently seeking a part-time Coordinator to join the Liberty Partnerships Program. This part-time position will assist the Liberty Partnership Program Director with the implementation of programming and reporting for the Liberty Partnerships Program, which is comprised of an afterschool and summer program designed to increase high school graduation rates and promote college readiness. The Coordinator will also assist the Director in developing and fostering key partnerships within the local community that best serve students within the afterschool program and meet the requirements set forth in the grant. This position may work a flexible schedule that includes evening and weekend hours as need. Additionally, this position may be required to travel between campuses and to other program sites in Newburgh, NY as need.
Job Requirements:
Education Required: Associate's degree
Experience Required: Experience with programs that serve at risk youth.
Experience working with underrepresented populations.

This role, housed within the Center for Student and Career Success, plays a pivotal part in fulfilling our mission to empower students to achieve their academic and career aspirations.
The Assistant Director of Career Success is critical to advancing SUNY Orange's Career initiatives and provides training for faculty and staff on career coaching. The Assistant Director facilitates workshops for faculty and staff and works closely with academic communities within the college in developing career exploration options for students. The Assistant Director will assist students with developing alternative career options related to their academic discipline. In support of career goal attainment, the Assistant Director maintains knowledge of current employment, economic, and industry trends and connects students to campus and community services. The Assistant Director tracks and reports participation, outcomes and other related metrics of students. This position will work alongside the Pathway Coaches, Career Coach and Success Coach on career goal setting and planning as well as assist the Associate Director in campus relations with employers. The Assistant Director is expected to travel between both campuses and other sites.

- Liaison to academic departments, faculty and professional staff to promote delivery of career coaching, training and support.
- Conducts student outreach regarding career planning and related opportunities.

Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years' experience of career advising in a college setting, vocational recruiting or training, or related vocational services experience. Understanding of career development principles and job search strategies. Strong presentation skills. Knowledge of career trends and use of contemporary career assessment tools.

Dietician Assistant - Workforce Training Instructor - Part Time, Grant Funded
SUNY Orange FoodTEC is seeking a Part-Time Workforce Training Instructor with expertise in healthcare food service or nutrition. The instructor will deliver workforce training to participants in the FoodTEC Workforce Development Program on the Newburgh Campus. The instructor will follow the established curriculum and learning objectives, covering all industry-specific training.
Key responsibilities include:

The Employment & Training Administration is currently seeking a Case Manager to join their team.
The Case Manager will plan, coordinate and supervise the activities of individuals enrolled in Welfare to Work programs. The essential nature of the work is to assign program participants to employment activities to meet federal participation work requirements as well as help them to reach economic independence. Key responsibilities include:
- Provides assistance to participants through referral to job readiness training programs, support services, and other appropriate work activities leading to employment.
- Approves, monitors, oversees and evaluates the efforts of assigned participants in programs to achieve work participation requirements provided through Orange County Career Centers/Employment & Training Administration.
- Participates in case conferences, informational meetings with various partner agencies and/or service providers regarding client participation programs, job readiness activities and self-sufficiency plans leading to independence.
- Counsel individual participants to motivate, reinforce and develop a solid work ethic and achieve realistic goals. Will formulate career plans and evaluate barriers to employment as assigned.
- Maintains participant program records, enters and updates data into Welfare to Work Case Management System (WTWCMS), including the formulation of an assessment, employment plan and other relevant data. Completes reports, compiles statistics, prepares caseload for monthly local and state case reviews.
- May provide orientation, job readiness and training workshops.
- Provide mentoring to clients in their job seeking and post-employment related needs. May include employer and work site visits.
- Provide retention services to both customer and employer.
- May make training related program or work-site field visits to evaluate participant progress.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field; OR an Associate's Degree and one (1) year experience working in job training, placement, or human services program; OR three years of equivalent work experience.

Coordinator of FoodTEC - Part Time, Grant Funded
The Coordinator of FoodTEC supports the management and administration of the Orange County FoodTEC Workforce Development Program and reports directly to the Executive Director. This position will help build and sustain the grant to realize and exceed established goals and outcomes. Specifically, the Coordinator of the FoodTEC Workforce Development Program will help build and enhance short-term, non-degree credential programs or course offerings to program trainees. - Assist with and maintain program data collection, records, and evaluation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and student success rates.
- Coordinate marketing and outreach activities to promote the FoodTEC Program and recruit trainees.

- Responsible for handling large volumes of cash and negotiable items. Assists management with daily operational tasks including operator, ATM, TellerInfinity and branch proof.
- Open new memberships, new accounts, new loans and process loan and account transactions. Refer members to branch business partners for consultation on Financial Services, Insurance Services, Real Estate and Business products as appropriate to meet member needs.
- Consistently follow all applicable policies and procedures. Utilize required programs and systems to assist with cross selling HVCU products and services.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of credit union products and services through ongoing training and education. Train new Universal Branch Associates as needed.
- Meet or exceed established individual and team goals through the consistent application of the HVCU Sales and Service model in all member interactions. Support the successful implementation of marketing programs and promotions by creating member awareness.
- Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
