Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Commercial Credit Analyst II. Primary Function: Perform in-depth commercial credit analyses, generally on the more complex or time sensitive files, on a timely basis that are consistent with HVCU format, policy and procedures, including making recommendations on approval and determining appropriate risk ratings for all types of commercial products, with little guidance from the Commercial Lending leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth commercial credit analyses, generally on the more complex and time sensitive files that are consistent with HVCU format, policy and procedures, comprehensive and contain thorough and relevant analysis, and are free of typographical, grammatical and mathematical errors that require limited or no editing by the Supervisor, Commercial Credit/AVP, Commercial Lending. To include identifying recurring and non-recurring sources of cash flow, the Borrower’s ability to cover debt service, and the ability of the guarantor to support the Borrower.
- Assign the appropriate risk rating based on identified financial trends, risks, mitigants and policy exceptions. Recommendations are to be supported by financial spreads, investigative data (credit reports; lien & litigation searches, etc.) and where applicable global cash flows, covenant compliance assessments or other such analytical measures.
- Assist with loan structure and mentoring of other credit staff, on an as needed basis.
- Complete commercial credit analyses within specified deadlines.
- Maintain the Credit Union’s commercial loan portfolio by performing annual reviews, renewals, extensions and modifications on existing borrowing relationships.
- Respond to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from other HVCU personnel, members, etc. within given timeframes and within established policy.
- Achieve goals assigned to the Credit Analyst II as part of the departments’ annual operating plan. To include initiating and implementing process improvements to enhance member experience and increase department efficiencies.
- Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Supervises the operational aspects of the stables program including horseback riding, pony rides, carriage operation, corporate events, public relations, staffing, expense control, and sales; maximizing revenue while maintaining a high quality of safety and service. This person will respond quickly and appropriately to satisfy all guest and staff requests while promoting a positive and safe experience. The Stables Supervisor is an active member of the recreation team who responds to all issues of departmental concern within the framework of the operation of the total hotel.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
•Oversee daily operations of the stable in absence of Stable Manager including: staff, rides, reservations, accounting procedures, and animal care.
•Demonstrate competency as horseback rider with ability to mount horse from the ground.
•Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to work; maintain good attendance.
•Display good horsemanship and have a strong fundamental background in horse ailments, conditions, and traits.
•Demonstrate “Horse sense” and interpret herd behavior.
•Assess rider’s abilities and horse behaviors in response to riders’ actions.
•Maintain a structured working environment for staff.
•Supervise and train stables personnel.
•Ensure all riders have accurately signed waiver form and payment receipt.

The sucessful candidate will supervise the daily operations and staff related to the servicing of residential mortgages, including residential tax/insurance escrow functions and homeowner’s insurance tracking and maintenance. Coordinate the workflow for assigned personnel, sets deadlines, ensure procedures are compliant with state and federal lending regulations and secondary market investor guidelines are followed. Review the residential mortgage servicing area processes and procedures for continuous improvement.

Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant assists with a variety of activities within the Center for Career Education (CCE), and is the first point of contact for visitors and callers. The Administrative Assistant interacts regularly with students, alums, faculty, employers, administrative offices, and academic departments. This position serves as the chief support person for handling arrangements for workshops and events, triaging and responding to emails in a timely fashion, ensuring that students/alums are receiving assistance promptly, and providing overall support to the operations of the CCE.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the front line of support for reception/front desk interactions to create a friendly and welcoming office environment: check in, schedule and route student/alum appointments; answer phones and screen incoming calls and mail, maintain office supplies. Serve as incoming emails to the department and route to the appropriate staff member.
• Provide administrative assistance for meetings, calls, and events; maintain filing systems and department calendars.
• Support maintenance scheduled and issues associated with department facilities and equipment, communicate updates to department and facilities/vendors.
• Support in organizing events, including scheduling, room reservations, completing tasks identified by an event plan, using templates to make name tags, event programs, or other event collateral, communicating with vendors and participants, and ordering food or supplies.
• Assist with arrangements for department guests, such as travel reimbursements and setting up accommodations.
• Communicate in multiple modes with department members, vendors, on-campus offices, alumnae/i, volunteers, and/or other off-campus partners to complete departmental tasks.
• Responsible for data entry (eg, logging email consultations with counselors and students), electronic file maintenance (eg, creating and updating alum accounts in systems), and running standard reports.
• Supports the budget operations of the office/department: process invoices and reconcile departmental purchases; track and compare planned budget to actual expenses; provide notice if out of alignment.
• Responsible for supervision of student employees, which may include posting of position, hiring, training, task assignments, providing feedback, and timesheet approvals.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities
• A minimum of two years of administrative support experience or other work experience.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office, and ability to learn additional technical systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with a diverse community.
• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to interact socially with others and to create a welcoming office environment.
Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities
• Four years of administrative support experience.
• Experience working with software systems including finance and accounting systems, payroll, student information systems, or customer relationship management systems.
Hourly rate: $18.15 per hour
