Adjunct Instructor - Movement Science - PT Day and Evening
SUNY Orange is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Part-Time Adjunct Instructor to teach a required Concepts of Physical Wellness course for undergraduate students. This foundational course integrates classroom learning with active movement experiences, helping students build lifelong wellness habits and understand the importance of physical activity for health and performance.
The instructor will be responsible for following established Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs), delivering engaging instruction, assessing student progress, and facilitating participation in a variety of physical movement sessions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Teach one or more sections of Concepts of Physical Wellness, a credit bearing general education course.
- Deliver course content aligned with required SLOs, including: ,
- Understanding health-related concepts (nutrition, stress, cardiovascular health, etc.) ,
- Evaluating individual fitness levels across components such as cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength/endurance, flexibility, and body composition
- Participating in movement sessions (e.g., walking, stretching, weight training, spinning)
- Develop assignments, quizzes, fitness assessments, and activities that align with course objectives.
- Lead and supervise in-class physical activity sessions that are safe, inclusive, and adapted for varied fitness levels.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, fitness data, assessments, and grades in accordance with college policies.
- Provide feedback and academic support to students during office hours or as needed.
- Collaborate with department faculty to ensure consistency and quality in course delivery.
Job Requirements:
Required Education: Master's degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science, Health Promotion Kinesiology, or a closely related field.
Required Experience: Experience teaching wellness, fitness or physical education in higher education and/or high school level. Ability to facilitate both classroom-based instruction and activity based learning. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and a commitment to student success, equity, and inclusive pedagogical practices.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:
- Certification in group fitness, personal training, or wellness coaching, (e.g. ACSM, ACE, NASM)
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- Familiarity with fitness testing protocols and interpreting health/fitness data
- Experience with instructional Technology (e.g. learning management systems, fitness tracking apps)

Job Requirements:
Education Required: Bachelor's Degree or higher.
Experience Required: Minimum three years of progressive experience in career services, employer relations, workforce development, or a related area. Demonstrated ability to build and sustain employer partnerships and organize large-scale events such as career fairs. Utilization of career services technology platforms.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Characteristics:
- Two years' experience in vocational counseling, job/internship placement and/or career support in the education sector.
- Knowledgeable about the local and regional labor market.
- Familiar with career-related software.

Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for a Commercial Workout Manager. The primary function of this role is to manage and optimize HVCU’s commercial lending portfolio by developing, recommending, and implementing effective workout strategies for commercial loans and mortgages. This includes monitoring accounts to ensure timely debt repayment or strategic asset liquidation, with the goal of minimizing loss and maximizing recovery. The position involves thorough analysis of loan accounts to determine optimal resolutions while maintaining strict compliance with federal and state regulations as well as HVCU policies. Additional duties include conducting site visits, participating in member meetings, and providing ongoing support to the Director of Member Debt Solutions and the Chief Credit Officer.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of criticized/classified small business, SBA, participation, and commercial loans, ensuring effective resolution and performance tracking.
- Lead workout strategies for distressed commercial loans, including restructuring, repayment plans, and asset liquidation to mitigate risk and maximize recovery.
- Conduct in-depth financial reviews of borrowers and guarantors, assess repayment capacity, and prepare thorough credit presentations aligned with HVCU standards.
- Perform detailed underwriting and present workout proposals and renewals, including full documentation of borrower financials and collateral.

BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Beverage Manager in ensuring efficient, professional beverage service to guests and in the efficient purchasing, receiving, storing, and distribution elements of the department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
•Maintain complete knowledge of and ensure that staff members strictly abide by State Liquor Regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors and intoxicated persons.

Coordinator of FoodTEC - Part Time, Grant Funded
The Coordinator of FoodTEC supports the management and administration of the Orange County FoodTEC Workforce Development Program and reports directly to the Executive Director. This position will help build and sustain the grant to realize and exceed established goals and outcomes. Specifically, the Coordinator of the FoodTEC Workforce Development Program will help build and enhance short-term, non-degree credential programs or course offerings to program trainees. SUNY Orange is currently seeking a part-time Coordinator to join the Liberty Partnerships Program. This part-time position will assist the Liberty Partnership Program Director with the implementation of programming and reporting for the Liberty Partnerships Program, which is comprised of an afterschool and summer program designed to increase high school graduation rates and promote college readiness. The Desk Clerk performs receptionist and customer service work helping to represent Mohonk Mountain House in the best way possible as they often serve as the guest’s first impression of the resort. The Desk Clerk is responsible for checking guests in/out of rooms graciously, efficiently, and accurately. They are responsible for processing charges and payments and demonstrating knowledge of billing and payment options. The ideal candidate would be courteous, self-motivated, friendly, and detail-oriented and provide accurate information about all resort amenities and services. Computer proficiency and the ability to effectively communicate via telephone, email, and in person are essential.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Process guest check-ins using established resort procedures. Verify registration cards for the correct information and obtain guest signatures and any necessary paperwork.
- Answer guest questions with accurate information and demonstrate a friendly and helpful personality by smiling, eye contact, initiating conversation and engaging with others.
- Promote and recognize customer loyalty and provide exceptional service.
- Set-up guest reservation billing accounts for each person checking-in according to requests/requirements (shares, separate room rates/tax/incidentals, routing, comps)
- Collect information for guest billing, including tax exempt status information, credit card, check, or cash
- Assist customers with questions regarding their existing reservations. Make future reservations
- Understand reservation codes, other input codes, and special traces.
- Enter and confirm reservations in the property management system with the utmost accuracy and detail to capture important information.
- Generate and communicate daily traced requests, special attention guests, and VIPs for the front desk and other departments.
- Make Dining Reservations for hotel guests of the resort.
- Prepare key packets and registration card arrival boxes for reserved designated group business.
- Organize guest registration cards by filing all cards accurately in room number order.
- Provide information to guests on luggage storage, parking and retrieval of vehicles, and loading of luggage into cars for departure.
- Maintain a complete knowledge of all resort features, services, and activities (i.e. hours of operation, daily house counts, number of arrivals and departures, scheduled group and transient events, room availability, room types, rates, promotions, and amenities, locations of services and facilities).
- Learn and successfully demonstrate the Mohonk Mountain House Service Steps with Service Strategies with guests and staff.
- Learn and retain knowledge of historical facts and information about Mohonk Mountain House.
- Understand and comply with resort and departmental policies and procedures including required uniform and dress code policies. Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance and wear required department-issued uniform.

- Answer telephone calls and emails in a clear and professional manner using the correct greeting and grammar usage.
- Transfer special unrelated front desk telephone calls to the appropriate departments
- Advise guests of messages (telephone, fax, etc.) and package deliveries.
- Perform basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and perform and record cash/credit transactions accurately.
- Maintain an assigned cash bank and insure accuracy of contracted amount. Follow proper accounting procedures for deposits, refunds, rate adjustments, and end of shift audits. Adhere to cashiering and accounting policies.
- Process adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, miscellaneous charges, and room charges. Cash guests personal checks according to Mohonk Mountain House procedure. Settle guest room accounts.
- Perform an audit via Opera (PMS) programming (balance receipts) and return bank at close of shift in accordance with Mohonk Mountain House standards.
- Take information on shopping orders and relay information to the Guest Services Shopper.
- Process guest and employee dry cleaning requests accurately according to procedures. Inspect and confirm receipt of laundry from the cleaner.
- Provide transportation information and directions to guests. Book trip arrivals and departures via Mohonk Mountain House Transportation.
- Follow opening and closing procedure checklists.
- Document guest requests, concerns, and needs; and immediately communicate with appropriate departments/personnel. Follow-up to make sure the guest is satisfied with the resolution using Mohonk Mountain House Second Effort procedures.
- Keep a clean and neat work station, restock office supplies and paper supplies as necessary.
- Work in office setting subject to continuous interruptions and background noises.

Primary Function: sales position responsible for presenting and selling specific mortgage loan programs to members and potential members that are appropriate for their individual financial circumstances. This position assists in completing the process of obtaining a mortgage loan in accordance with Credit Union and regulatory guidelines. The Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for developing new business opportunities through networking, such as realtor relations, meet or exceed established member service levels, loan quality and loan production goals.

- Collect and analyze member’s financial information and assess their financial circumstances to determine whether the member and the property qualify for a particular loan; this includes member’s income, assets, investments, debts, credit history as well as characteristics of the property and other pertinent information.
- Follow up with members as necessary to obtain required documentation. Provide assistance as required to the Processing and/or Underwriting areas in order to ensure a quality loan decision.
- Based on member need, identify opportunities for referral to other Credit Union products and services including, but not limited to, Hudson Valley Credit Union Insurance Services, HVCU Financial Services, HVCU Business Services and HVCU branch services.
- Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Responsible for relaying incomplete admission tasks to the Charge RN (Nights). Conducts a full Physical Assessment of Skin and every body system (i.e.) Neurologic, Cardiovascular, GI, Urinary, etc. and documents such. Completes an in-depth interview with new resident and family, as well as review of medical record to ensure an accurate, complete admission. Educates resident and family to the facility policies and procedures. (i.e.) visitation, smoking policy, etc. Completes all nursing instructions for CNAs and Unit Assistants. Communicates with medical staff re: the new admission orders and diagnoses. Discharges: Completes Discharge Summary with all orders-Medications, Treatments, Therapy orders and Equipment needed). Provides any needed discharge teaching and document each instance in the medical record. (i.e.)Insulin administration, wound treatments, g-tube or foley catheter care. Writes all scripts for discharge. Completes Form 3122 for all discharges to the Enhanced units. Completes an O2 necessity form if necessary for discharge. Attends Daily IDT meeting each morning to review each residents progress. Reviews of all resident outgoing appointments that day. Coordinate with CNAs and Medical Services Assistant to ensure residents make each appointment and that appropriate documentation goes with the resident to their appointment. Upon return the day charge nurse must review the consult recommendations, communicates those needs to the provider and enter any needed order or care related changes in the EMR. Ensures all residents get to in house and out-of-house appointments. Daily review of appointment calendar. Ensures all residents get to planned activities. Ensures all residents get to therapy appointments in house. Assists with completion of all Investigations and Analyses (I&As) not completed on the prior shift. Attends weekly Wound Care Rounds as part of that team. Performs daily follow up and documentation in the EMR for any resident requiring Bowel Protocol intervention and medications with an RN assessment. Reviews all labs and diagnostic testing reports performed on shift and all pending labs from previous shifts/days. Communicates those results with medical staff and enters any needed order changes in the EMR as well as a progress note about the visit and changes. Communicates with Family/Health Care Proxys ANY changes in medications, resident conditions, consult results from appointments, and incident especially those resulting in an I&A (skin injuries, fall, behaviors, etc.)**The majority of family communication occurs on the day shift. Attends care plan meetings as needed. Assists with all meals to ensure that appropriate assistance is provided to all residents and nursing coverage is as care planned. Youth Employment Specialist - PT
The Youth Employment Specialist will initiate employment programming and activities for youth participants between the ages of 16 and 24. The Youth Employment Specialist will assess and develop youth participant employment skills and establish employment/career goals. This position will be expected to maintain attendance and participation records, and monitor youth participant progress toward their individual and program goals. A core activity is case management to motivate and assist participants in employment attainment.
This position will have a primary assignment on the Newburgh campus, however, travel between the college's two campuses and other sites is required as needed.
Job Requirements:
Education Required: Associate's degree or higher
Experience Required: Two (2) years of experience utilizing Youth Development principles to provide case management and advocacy for under-resourced youth and their families.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:
