What You'll Do:

• Greet and check in patients; notify providers when patients are ready
• Set up and prepare treatment rooms with appropriate instruments and supplies
• Assist the dentist with exams, cleanings, and procedures using 4-handed dentistry techniques
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed
• Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure equipment meets OSHA and CDC infection control guidelines
• Manage dental lab tasks: pour impressions, track cases, complete lab logs, and organize shipments
• Update patient records, treatment plans, and forms in the electronic medical record system
• Track daily visit types (e.g., no-shows, cancellations, emergency visits, payment types)

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Dental Assistant Certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical dental setting preferred
• Comfortable with basic computer systems and electronic health records
• Knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-paced team
• Familiarity with family dentistry is a plus
