The Commercial Door Project Manager will run projects from award to delivery/finish.  This includes such things as shop drawing review and correction, ordering materials, scheduling deliver of materials and troubleshoot issues that arise.  This individual will also prepare estimates of commercial doors, frames and hardware.

Job Duties:

• Review hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors and frames and FRP door schedules for accuracy and make corrections. 
• Follow specifications and plans to be sure the items scheduled are in strict accordance with the requirements outlined. 
• Ascertain that the items specified are suitable to the job details.
• Order materials to meet customer’s delivery requirements cost effectively.
• Manage shop workload.
• Produce weekly and monthly billing to customers as required.
• Communicate with others to assist with the delivery of associated products.
• Resolve discrepancies and inaccuracies with architects, contractors and salesmen as necessary.
• Prepare quotes of hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors and frames and door hardware.

• Works with locksmith, technician and other departments to insure proper keying, adaption and installation of products.
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Must be willing to learn software program used by vbh for estimating and scheduling.
• Education: High school diploma/GED required

(Associate's degree preferred)

• Experience:                     Minimum 1 years in similar position

(2 years preferred)
