Per Diem Clinician, Permanency Resource Center (PRC)
As a Per Diem Clinician, you will provide trauma-informed family therapy, child therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention as indicated to individuals, families and groups in a Permanency Resource Center. This can include outpatient individual or family therapy, group therapy, consultation to caregivers, and support to case managers. Work is designed to be short-term but will follow the needs of the family as written in their service plan. You will be assigned between 2 and 15 cases. Therapy is to be provided in the community or in office, and is paid for by the program, not through insurance reimbursement. You will report to the Licensed Clinician and you will work in a hybrid model with community-based travel required.
Responsibilities:
- Provision of outpatient therapy remotely or in person with youth or caregivers within the Permanency Resource Center system.
- Document the contact within the Evolv system.
- Attend and participate in individual supervision on at least a monthly basis and more frequently if the acuity of the assigned cases requires this.
- Provide therapeutic services to individuals assigned to case load.
- Provide case management services as clinically indicated.
- Provide referral, collateral and linkage services.
- Record and maintain case records according to program standards.
Requirements and Education:
- A Master’s degree in one of the healing arts.
- A minimum of a limited permit in social work, family therapy, mental health counseling, or the healing arts.
- A valid NYS driver's license.

Per Diem (As Needed) Shift
As a Respite Worker for the Permanency Resource Center, you will provide respite services to youth in adoptive, guardianship and kinship families. Respite may also be available to families as part of the service plan and can occur at parent support groups or other PRC events and will be designed to be consistent with the children's needs and interests. Outings or activities with individual youth will be coordinated with the supervisor and parent. Respite provided as part of a group activity at a support group will be designed to allow parents the opportunity to have time separate from their children while they attend a support group. You will report to the Case Manager Supervisor or designated supervisor at the event. You will work onsite with youth in the community.
Responsibilities:

As a Clinician for Mobile Crisis, you will provide crisis risk assessments with a diagnosis (with appropriate supervisory approval, per scope of practice), crisis stabilization and interventions, de-escalation techniques and follow-up services to the identified client experiencing emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric crises. Licensed Community Clinician
Remote/Hybrid Role
Flexible Hours
As a Licensed Clinical Community Service Providers, you will provide Children and Family Treatment Support Services (CFTSS). These mental health services available with New York State Children's Medicaid program, give children (up to age 21) and their families the power to improve their health, well-being and quality of life. This program is intended to offer opportunities to better meet the behavioral health needs of children early on and to prevent the onset or progression of behavioral health conditions. These services strengthen children and their families, and help them to make informed decisions about their care and are provided either at home or in the community. You will report to the Clinical Supervisor and you will work remote/hybrid.
Responsibilities
- Provide Home and Community-based Assessments, counseling, and treatment planning to children and their care givers.
- In Person, in the home, community-based, in office and telehealth to meet the needs of our clients.
- Complete an assessment of needs and recommendations for further medically necessary services, such as rehabilitation services. Services are delivered in a trauma informed, culturally and linguistically competent manner.
- Work with family members, advocates and other salient parties to identify goals of treatment. Provide observations and information to collateral contacts for the purpose of the progress and tracking of the Treatment Plan goals.
- Complete all required documentation for submission to the Supervisor within the required timeframes.
Requirements and Education
- Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field.
- 1 year of related experience.
- NYS Professional Licensure/Limited Permit - LMFT, LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, and LCAT.
- NYS drivers license with a reliable vehicle, as work requires up to 50% community travel/client home visits.

Job Summary | Endowed Constellation Faculty in Future Chips at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute We are especially interested in candidates who have a demonstrated ability to perform high impact research in semiconductor technology to address the next generation challenges in computing. Job Summary | The Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute seeks applications for a tenure-track (or tenured) faculty position at the Associate Professor level in Business Analytics/Supply Chain Management starting Fall 2024. Candidates must have a PhD degree from an accredited university in Analytics, Operations Research, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field, along with demonstrated evidence to produce original and innovative scholarly work with publications in premier business journals. The successful candidate will join the School either as a tenure-track assistant professor, or as an associate professor, based on teaching and research experience and success. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated potential and commitment to effective teaching in our graduate and undergraduate degree programs in supply chain and business analytics, as well as provide service to the School of Management and to Rensselaer. Job Summary | The Department of Biological Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for tenure-track/tenured faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor levels. We seek passionate and innovative individuals with demonstrated potential to establish a strong externally funded research program and contribute to the teaching mission of the department. All exceptional candidates will be considered, and we encourage applications from individuals who will bring a unique research approach and skill set to address fundamental problems in neurobiology, cell and developmental, biology, broadly defined. Successful candidates will complement the department research strengths in cellular neuroscience, circadian biology, molecular motors & cytoskeleton dynamics, muscle physiology & disease, neurodegeneration, protein design, folding, structure & functional dynamics, protein misfolding in human disease, microbiology & host-pathogen interactions, biophysics of extreme environments, and freshwater ecology & climate change. The department provides a collaborative and supportive mentoring environment to foster the success of its faculty, with the Institute providing additional opportunities for professional development to assist faculty in meeting their teaching, research, and career aspirations. All candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree, or foreign degree equivalent, with relevant postdoctoral experience. Candidates for the rank of Assistant Professor must exhibit promise of future distinction in research, scholarship, and education. For candidates at the Associate or full Professor level, the applicant must possess a record of excellence in scholarship as demonstrated by an emerging national and/or international reputation, a significant funding record, high quality educational activities including teaching and advising, and service to the department, university, and profession. The successful candidate will be expected to establish/maintain an externally funded research program, participate in collaborative, multi-investigator research and research training initiatives, and contribute to the high impact teaching program in the Department of Biological Sciences. The successful candidate will join the faculty in the 218,000 square foot Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies (CBIS), which contains staff-supported core facilities and promotes an atmosphere for interdisciplinary collaboration. The Institute for Data Exploration and Applications (IDEA) enables an opportunity to partner with faculty that are at the forefront of biological data analytics, enabling the modeling and simulation power to advance the quantitative and systems biology approaches that are widely employed in the department. IDEA and the Center for Computational Innovation provide collaborative opportunities to use the fastest supercomputer found at a private university. More recently, Rensselaer and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai launched the Center for Engineering and Precision Medicine (CEPM) in New York City to engage in both fundamental and translational biomedical research both in New York City and the Troy campus, expanding collaborative opportunities with a world class medical school for Rensselaer faculty. Job Summary | The Department of Physics, Applied Physics, and Astronomy at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the field of Quantum Computing, Quantum Information, and Quantum Technology, with focus on the fundamental aspects or applications of quantum computation, scalability, and error correction on current and future quantum computing devices. Research areas can include but not limited to quantum entanglement, decoherence, and noise in quantum networks, with applications to quantum cryptography, quantum encryption, and secure quantum communications in noisy environments. Possible related areas would also include studying and exploiting the fundamental connections between Quantum Monte Carlo and Quantum Computing, simulating quantum field theory and many-body theory with a quantum computer (in particular, simulating systems with a “sign” problem), quantum communication networks, exotic quantum dynamics, quantum sensing protocols, exotic quantum phases of matter, and theory on the nature of information at the quantum level. With the anticipated of arrival of the IBM Quantum System One on our campus, this hire will have access to explore and implement some of these challenging problems. This hire would be part of a bold effort at RPI to strengthen and extend our current faculty cluster in Quantum Information, and would interact with our current faculty on quantum optics and photon entanglement, quantum field-theory, quantum fluctuations in networks, as well as with researchers from Computer Science, ECSE, Future of Computing Institute, and with the future hires of the recently announced Quantum Constellation. The position also represents a response to federal priorities expressed in the National Quantum Initiative Act. The successful candidate will establish/maintain and externally funded research program, participate in collaborative, multi-investigator research and research training initiatives, and contribute to the high impact teaching program in the Department of Physics, Applied Physics, and Astronomy. Postdoctoral research experience and a strong early record of publication in leading journals is preferred. The candidate is expected to work in an interdisciplinary and collaborative research environment. |

Job Summary | The Dean of Students, reporting to the Vice Provost for Student Experience, ensures a dynamic living and learning environment that contributes to students’ intellectual agility, multicultural sophistication, and global view. They manage policies, procedures, and support services to enhance students’ academic, personal, and professional development, campus and community affinity, overall well-being, and safety. They direct staff in overseeing programs, functions, events, and activities related to the student experience. The Dean of Students serves as a liaison to academic and administrative departments regarding student conduct, rights, and responsibilities. The Dean of Students is to serve as a resource to faculty, parents, staff, alumni/ae, and to the community in matters related to Rensselaer students. |
Minimum Qualifications | Master’s Degree required in higher education administration, student personnel, or related field Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in student affairs with progressively increasing levels of responsibility, including experience serving at the Dean/ Director level.
