Job Summary | The Director of Real Estate directs all activities associated with land management/leases; real estate revenue activities; building and land acquisition/sales; building and land appraisals; all Rensselaer property-related tax payments; Rensselaer tax exemption requirements; and special activities, that include leases and subleases of external facilities, fraternity/sorority land/building leases and finances; estate activities and community issues. The Director is responsible for leading real estate and economic development programs to attract diverse and innovative partners to engage on properties owned by the Institution both residential and commercial, inclusive of properties at Rensselaer Technology Park (RTP). This will comprise extensive collaboration with multiple portfolios including the Office of Strategic Alliances and Translation (OSAT), Provost, Student Life, OCEC, and Finance. The Director is responsible to develop programs to attract and maintain tenant occupants of RTP and create a self-funded real estate program. Programs that cultivate community and regional relationships and foster an exchange of ideas between community leaders, industry partners, researchers and students. The Director is responsible for all fiscal management of the RTP and real estate program including operating and capital budget development and financial controls to achieve goals. |

Description
As a Residential Youth Counselor, you will provide daily therapeutic care and programming according to agency policy and governing bodies' (DSS, OMH, JCAHO, etc.) requirements for elementary aged children.. You will work on-site on our Albany campus and will report to the Residential Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Provide for the physical and psychological needs of clients, including physical safety, hygiene, clothing, food, cooking, medical care, and providing a reliable and nurturing environment.
1:1 Residential Counselor
You will follow an individual youth’s 1:1 expectations plan, ICMP, and any safety plans in place.
Engage the youth in activities and conversation that are age appropriate and at the appropriate developmental level.
Document in writing a summary of each shift.
Learn the history and specific issues associated with the youth who requires 1:1; will learn how to safely manage any crisis.
Seek and obtain training in any particular area specific to the youth who requires 1:1care.
Transport 1:1 client for medical, mental health, and other essential needs.

You will must be able to work within trauma informed framework of program, including identifying and using coping/safety plans, maintaining consistency, providing regular routine, and controlling own response to youth.
Engage and form positive relationship with all youth served.
Complete all mandatory trainings according to programmatic guidelines.
Display basic competency in TCI techniques.
Follow outlined program routines, therapeutic plans of youth, and program rules and protocols.
Work as part of a team including colleague residential counselors, clinicians, on line oncall, supervisors, and other administrative and functional support staff.
Maintain respectful and appropriate communication with internal and external customers,including county workers, medical staff, parents etc.

The Behavioral Health program and the Youth Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a shared role working between our Schenectady NY location and our Rensselaer NY location. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive Psychiatric services to adults and youth who are enrolled in our outpatient clinic program and a 28-person caseload of youth enrolled in our Youth ACT program. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. Must be able to seechildren.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric services to youth enrolled in Youth ACT and adults and youth enrolled in our BehavioralHealth Clinic as assigned
- Provide consultation to staff on diagnostic and treatment questions
- Participate in formal and informal training and education to staff
- Prescribe medications, monitor, and review of drug regimen for enrolled individuals
- Participate in quality assurance activities, consult with the Youth ACT Team in developing and reviewing service plans for all Youth ACT enrolled individuals
- Provide clinical expertise, consultation, and technical assistance to the Youth ACT Team/Behavioral Health, cooperate with the County and participate in any quality audit and utilization review
- Provide on-site/community based/home visits medication evaluations and reviews for Youth ACT enrolled participants.
Education and/or Experience:
- Requires Board Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Must have a minimum of one year experience working with youth and adults diagnosed with mental illness.
- Must be fully licensed Nurse Practitionerin the State of New York.

- National Provider Identification (NPI) - issued by the federal Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). All electronic prescriptions in NYS require an NPI. Claims processing functions also require the NPI of nurse practitioners and physicians.
- Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) number– issued by the United States Department of Justice Department DEA to nurse practitioners and physicians to prescribe controlled substances. DEA registration must be renewed every three years for those issued a prescriber registration.
- NYS Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement (NYS DOH BNE) registration – issued by the NYS DOH BNE to nurse practitioners and physicians to prescribe controlled substances. NYS DOH BNE registration must be renewed every two years for those issued a prescriber registration.
- NYS Medicaid Enrollment - in cases in which a Prescriber is prescribing to a NYS Medicaid enrolled client. Revalidation must occur at least every five years.

Position purpose: Oversees the custodial staff and ensures that assigned campus facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Provides translation needs for all Custodial teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Leadership: Leads, supervises, and coordinates the activities of the custodial team to ensure all assigned tasks are completed. Assesses job performance of custodians for yearly evaluation. Prioritizes/schedules work to be done by custodians. Ensures custodians have completed their assigned tasks in each area.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Performs regular cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc. Utilizing cleaning equipment such as butler van, ride on scrubbers, and advanced cleaning equipment. Conducts regular inspections of all areas ensuring areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. Provides coverage for absent staff to maintain cleaning standards.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicates effectively with the Supervisor of Building Maintenance and other staff members about cleaning schedules, and needs. Resolves any custodian related concerns promptly. Pitches in to assist colleagues as needed.
- Operations: Monitors and manages inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Executes special cleaning tasks as requested, beyond routine daily cleaning duties. Stays informed about standards for the use, handling, and disposal of cleaning chemicals. Supports the work request system's administrative functions related to cleaning tasks.
- Administration: Processes monthly requests for cleaning supplies. Approves bi-weekly time sheets for all applicable custodians. Attends seminars and other courses of study designed to improve job performance. Complies with departmental and college policies and procedures. Schedules all vacation and absence time off for their team. Schedules appropriate staffing for major events such as ReUnion, Commencement, Trustees, etc.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of three years of custodial experience. A minimum of three years of supervisory experience within a custodial environment is preferred.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and special events.
- Thorough knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper handling, and disposal procedures.
- Must have a valid New York State Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Physical requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, and bending, as well as the capability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.

Position Purpose: Assists the Athletic Communications Director and Assistant Athletic Communications Director with the promoting and publicizing of athletic events, teams, and athletes to enhance the organization's brand and engage with fans, media, and the public.

Job Summary | The Department of Physics, Applied Physics, and Astronomy at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the field of Quantum Computing, Quantum Information, and Quantum Technology, with focus on the fundamental aspects or applications of quantum computation, scalability, and error correction on current and future quantum computing devices. Research areas can include but not limited to quantum entanglement, decoherence, and noise in quantum networks, with applications to quantum cryptography, quantum encryption, and secure quantum communications in noisy environments. Possible related areas would also include studying and exploiting the fundamental connections between Quantum Monte Carlo and Quantum Computing, simulating quantum field theory and many-body theory with a quantum computer (in particular, simulating systems with a “sign” problem), quantum communication networks, exotic quantum dynamics, quantum sensing protocols, exotic quantum phases of matter, and theory on the nature of information at the quantum level. With the anticipated of arrival of the IBM Quantum System One on our campus, this hire will have access to explore and implement some of these challenging problems. This hire would be part of a bold effort at RPI to strengthen and extend our current faculty cluster in Quantum Information, and would interact with our current faculty on quantum optics and photon entanglement, quantum field-theory, quantum fluctuations in networks, as well as with researchers from Computer Science, ECSE, Future of Computing Institute, and with the future hires of the recently announced Quantum Constellation. Residential Assistant Supervisor -
Albany residential has an immediate need for a full-time ResidentialAssistant Supervisor. POSITION OVERVIEW
School Based Clinician
The School Based Clinician is responsible for providing clinical services to youth and their families according to program and regulatory guidelines, ensuring that all services are strengths-based, individualized, and comprehensive according to need.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide clinical services to youth and their families as assigned.
- Participate in the integrated service planning process for all youths enrolled.
- Ensure all service plans are strengths-based, individualized, and comprehensive according to need.
- Monitor the effectiveness of integrated service plans and review.
- Ensure all service are coordinated with other service providers.
- Access supports in the School or in the community as indicated.
- Assist families as needed in accessing assessments and recommendations for psychotropic medication.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires a Masters degree, MSW or equivalent.
- Experience, training, or education commensurate with working with children with serious and persistent emotional disturbance is desired.
- Experience with working in a school environment is preferred.
- Must be licensed prior to starting, or have an active limited permit. LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-R preferred.
- Required to pass licensing exam within six months of employment if working with a limited permit.
- Drivers license is required.

Job Summary | Endowed Constellation Faculty in Future Chips at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute We are especially interested in candidates who have a demonstrated ability to perform high impact research in semiconductor technology to address the next generation challenges in computing. Areas of focus are rooted in fundamental science and engineering that drive advances in microelectronics, such as heterogeneous integration, advanced logic, advanced packaging, and power electronics. Physics of materials is also important to making these advances and is, therefore, an area of interest. The ideal candidates are expected to develop an internationally recognized, externally funded, scientific program in chip technology for the future of computing. The Future Chips Constellation will be a key stakeholder in the Center for Materials, Devices, and Integrated Systems (cMDIS) which houses the Microscale and Nanoscale Cleanroom and the Nanoscale Characterization Core. Successful candidates will have duties that include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, developing and maintaining robust programs of research and scholarship, and service to their department and to Rensselaer. Job Summary | The Department of Electrical, Computer, and Systems Engineering (ECSE) at RENSSELAER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE in Troy, NY invites applications for multiple tenured/tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant and Associate Professor levels. The ECSE department is in a period of multi-year growth. Job Summary | The Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences (E&ES) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for one open rank, and one assistant level tenure-track/tenured position, both in Earth Systems Science. Research areas in the E&ES Department currently include experimental, analytical, and environmental geochemistry, petrology of Earth’s systems, biogeochemistry, astrobiology, geomicrobiology, and modern and ancient climate change. We are seeking applicants whose research will complement and grow these strengths, and whose research programs address fundamental problems in Earth Systems science, including, but not limited to: 1. Natural systems and environmental geochemistry, global change, critical zone science, soil science, environmental mineralogy. Any candidate with a computational approach in the above research areas is also encouraged to apply. The successful candidates will have duties that include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences, engaging in the Geology and Environmental Sciences undergraduate degree programs, developing and maintaining robust programs of research and scholarship, and providing service to the department, the School of Science, and to Rensselaer. After six years of employment at Union, Lecturers are eligible for promotion to Senior Lecturer with the possibility of contract lengths up to five years. A Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field is required. Candidates expecting to complete their doctoral thesis before September 2024 are also welcome to apply. We seek an individual who demonstrates a strong commitment to student-centered undergraduate education, including those with a professional interest in pedagogy. Service duties will include coordinating the Summer Clinical Immersion Program with our local partners, advising our Biomedical Engineering Society student chapter, and coordinating the biomedical engineering seminar series. Although research is not an expectation of this position, the successful candidate will have the option to continue scholarly activity and will have access to College funds and a wide array of advanced instrumentation and facilities. Excellent candidates in all areas of Biomedical Engineering will be considered, but preference will be given to candidates with expertise in biomechanics, biomaterials, and rehabilitation engineering.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $81,000 - $84,000. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

POSITION OVERVIEW
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the physical order of the building and therapeutic environment of the units.
- Develop and maintain schedules within the assigned campus residential unit, ensuring that there is adequate staff to meet regulatory requirements and safety requirements.
- Responsible to ensure that youth in our care are being supervised according to regulatory and programmatic standards.
- Design, implement and supervise program activity which will lead to the attainment of goals described within treatment plans.
- Supervise and evaluate the work of residential staff assigned to residential programs.
- Maintain records as directed by the Residential Program Manager.
- Participate in the interviewing and selection of new staff members.
- Participate in the training of residential staff.
- Conduct residential staff meetings.
- Participate in the evaluation of youth referred to the Agency for residential care.
- Conduct the financial activity of the residential unit in accordance with guidelines established by the Residential Program Manager and the Director.
- Responsible for managing program funds, purchasing food, clothing, household supplies, managing youth allowances
- Participate/organize program and agency wide special events and services.
- Provide for the physical and psychological needs of clients, including physical safety, hygiene, clothing, food (cooking when necessary), medical care, a reliable and nurturing environment.
- Participate in program on call rotation
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires minimum of HS diploma or equivalent and at least three to four years of relevant experience.
