Job Summary | The Director of Real Estate directs all activities associated with land management/leases; real estate revenue activities; building and land acquisition/sales; building and land appraisals; all Rensselaer property-related tax payments; Rensselaer tax exemption requirements; and special activities, that include leases and subleases of external facilities, fraternity/sorority land/building leases and finances; estate activities and community issues. The Director is responsible for leading real estate and economic development programs to attract diverse and innovative partners to engage on properties owned by the Institution both residential and commercial, inclusive of properties at Rensselaer Technology Park (RTP). This will comprise extensive collaboration with multiple portfolios including the Office of Strategic Alliances and Translation (OSAT), Provost, Student Life, OCEC, and Finance. The Director is responsible to develop programs to attract and maintain tenant occupants of RTP and create a self-funded real estate program. Programs that cultivate community and regional relationships and foster an exchange of ideas between community leaders, industry partners, researchers and students. The Director is responsible for all fiscal management of the RTP and real estate program including operating and capital budget development and financial controls to achieve goals. |

As a Residential Youth Counselor, you will provide daily therapeutic care and programming according to agency policy and governing bodies' (DSS, OMH, JCAHO, etc.) requirements for elementary aged children.. You will work on-site on our Albany campus and will report to the Residential Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Provide for the physical and psychological needs of clients, including physical safety, hygiene, clothing, food, cooking, medical care, and providing a reliable and nurturing environment.

You will follow an individual youth’s 1:1 expectations plan, ICMP, and any safety plans in place.
Engage the youth in activities and conversation that are age appropriate and at the appropriate developmental level.

The Behavioral Health program and the Youth Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a shared role working between our Schenectady NY location and our Rensselaer NY location. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive Psychiatric services to adults and youth who are enrolled in our outpatient clinic program and a 28-person caseload of youth enrolled in our Youth ACT program. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. Must be able to seechildren.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric services to youth enrolled in Youth ACT and adults and youth enrolled in our BehavioralHealth Clinic as assigned
- Provide consultation to staff on diagnostic and treatment questions
- Participate in formal and informal training and education to staff
- Prescribe medications, monitor, and review of drug regimen for enrolled individuals
- Participate in quality assurance activities, consult with the Youth ACT Team in developing and reviewing service plans for all Youth ACT enrolled individuals
- Provide clinical expertise, consultation, and technical assistance to the Youth ACT Team/Behavioral Health, cooperate with the County and participate in any quality audit and utilization review
- Provide on-site/community based/home visits medication evaluations and reviews for Youth ACT enrolled participants.
Education and/or Experience:
- Requires Board Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Must have a minimum of one year experience working with youth and adults diagnosed with mental illness.
- Must be fully licensed Nurse Practitionerin the State of New York.

- National Provider Identification (NPI) - issued by the federal Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). All electronic prescriptions in NYS require an NPI. Claims processing functions also require the NPI of nurse practitioners and physicians.
- Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) number– issued by the United States Department of Justice Department DEA to nurse practitioners and physicians to prescribe controlled substances. DEA registration must be renewed every three years for those issued a prescriber registration.

As a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for the administrative and programmatic oversight of a Foster Care team. You will oversee staff, the foster families associated with the office and maintain agency resource relationships within the counties the foster care program supports. You will report to the Director of Foster Care and will work onsite.

- Supervise multistage foster care treatment teams in areas of intake and ongoing treatment planning for foster youth and foster families.

As a Children's Health Home Care Manager, you will engage youth and families through outreach activities until enrollment into the Children's Health Home program. You will coordinate and monitor subsequent services to meet the needs of your members. You will report to a program supervisor, working in a hybrid model. As a Science Teacher, you will develop and implement Science classroom instructional plans for students. You will provide subject area instruction (Science) that follow the NYS K-12 Science Curricula and prepare students for exit examinations and statewide assessments. You will report to the Assistant principal and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement science instructional materials to provide individual and small group instruction to students of various ability levels, and at the high school level develop, teach, and assess laboratory experiences for Earth Science, Living Environment, and/or Environmental Science.
- Develop and implement classroom instructional plans with the Special Education Teachers that integrates the student's IEP goals and objectives, learning styles, and accommodations and modifications that are needed.
- Work with the Special Education Teachers on individual and classroom behavior plans for managing student behavior to maintain discipline in the classroom.
- Use the classroom PBIS universal plan and Tier 2 and 3 strategies for selected students.
- Coordinate the safety and well-being of students through the use of established classroom and schoolwide processes and procedures; supervise classroom staff in implementing these with their work with students throughout the building.
- Follow school and agency procedures and policies for reporting incidents. This includes behavior incident reports (IR) and incidents such as child/sexual abuse, substance abuse, harassment, bullying, and violence.
- Establish relationships with parents and family members to create a partnership around student treatment, student behavior, and academic progress.
- Participate in classroom grade level, and behavior/treatment meetings and professional training and development sessions (e.g. TCI, CPR, emergency procedures and other agency requirements).
- Follow all Agency policies and procedures, along with state and federal regulations pertaining to our school and students.
- Provide leadership to assigned teacher assistants in the various clerical and non-instructional duties for your classroom.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Leadership: Leads, supervises, and coordinates the activities of the custodial team to ensure all assigned tasks are completed. - Operations: Monitors and manages inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Executes special cleaning tasks as requested, beyond routine daily cleaning duties. Stays informed about standards for the use, handling, and disposal of cleaning chemicals. Supports the work request system's administrative functions related to cleaning tasks.
- Administration: Processes monthly requests for cleaning supplies. Approves bi-weekly time sheets for all applicable custodians. Attends seminars and other courses of study designed to improve job performance. Complies with departmental and college policies and procedures. Schedules all vacation and absence time off for their team. Schedules appropriate staffing for major events such as ReUnion, Commencement, Trustees, etc.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of three years of custodial experience. A minimum of three years of supervisory experience within a custodial environment is preferred.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and special events.
- Thorough knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper handling, and disposal procedures.
- Must have a valid New York State Driver's License with a clean driving record.

As a Children's Health Home Care Manager, you will engage youth and families through outreach activities until enrollment into the Children's Health Home program. You will coordinate and monitor subsequent services to meet the needs of your members. You will report to a program supervisor, working in a hybrid model. Job Summary | The Economic and Industry Analyst will analyze and make recommendations for progress of the sustainable fashion industry, from farms and new materials to processing to brands and design, in New York State and in general (in the U.S. and worldwide). As a Credible Messenger Counselor, you will develop transformative mentoring relationships with youth in the justice system. - Follow all Agency policies and procedures, along with state and federal regulations pertaining to our school and students.
- Assist the teacher in devising special strategies for reinforcing material or skills based on an understanding of individual students, their needs, interests, and abilities; create and modify materials to match student abilities.
- Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of materials to match student abilities.
- Monitor student behavior and help maintain discipline in the classroom; record behavior data as requested; assist with crisis prevention; assist with de-escalation techniques with students.
- Assist in the implementation of behavior plans (BIP); recording behavior data; and the completion of incident reports when requested.
- Monitor, supervise and assist students during non-instructional periods within a variety of school environments (e.g. lunch, recess/breaks, bus loading/unloading, playground, classroom, washroom, field trips, transportation, assemblies, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
- Assist in the implementation of Pyramid Model principles and practices in the classroom to build social and emotional competence and to support children through nurturing and responsive relationships and a high-quality environment.
- Attend meetings, training, professional learning sessions (e.g. first aid, Pyramid, CPR, emergency procedures, behavior management) for the purpose of enhancing professional skills, competencies and to meet regulatory requirements (OCFS regulations require 30 hours in 5 areas over 2 years).
- Perform various clerical duties; maintain records of student progress; develop and file incident reports; maintain student files; check daily attendance; make copies; develop classroom displays and instructional material; maintain and operate computers, smartboards and other classroom equipment.
- Collaborate with teacher and other staff to incorporate information provided by parents, doctors, nurses, therapists and others in order to understand the needs of and provide services for students.
- Assist the teacher(s) with the administration of appropriate assessment tools, tests, and other curriculum measurements.
- Always monitor safety and well-being of students; monitor student attitudes and encourage positive behavior and interactions with peers.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as requested by the teacher and Director.
Requirements and Education:
- Associates degree preferred
- Ability to work with students who demonstrate serious emotional and behavioral challenges, ages 3-5
- NYS Education Teacher Assistant Certification
