The Rapid City Area School District is hiring a Bus Aide for this School Year.
With this position you will be working part-time, Monday thru Friday while receiving full benefits. Applicants must be able to work with special needs students.  We will train successful candidates.

This position includes medical/dental insurance, 6 paid holidays, sick leave, state retirement, 9 months per year with summers off.

As a special education paraprofessional, you serve as a teacher assistant and work with students who have special needs. Your primary responsibilities are making learning opportunities accessible to all students and helping the teacher with classroom management. Your job duties are to supervise students with special needs, provide those students with extra assistance and support during lessons, and assist teachers with instruction and administrative tasks like grading, recording documentation about student behavior and progress both socially and educationally, and participating in meetings.

RAPID CITY AREA SCHOOLS REQUIRES ALL PARAPROFESSIONALS TO PROVIDE PROOF OF 48+ ACCREDITED COLLEGE CREDITS OR SUCCESSFUL PARA PRAXIS SCORE RESULTS.

School year hours 3:30 pm to Midnight
