Front Office Administrative Team Member

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to provide exceptional customer service to our patients. The role includes scheduling appointments, answering phones, updating as well as maintaining patient records, collecting payments, filing insurance claims, and ensuring smooth patient flow. The team members must maintain a professional demeanor, and provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all patients and staff. 

Responsibilities: 

• Scheduling, rescheduling and canceling patient appointments
• Managing patient accounts and scheduling
• Confirming appointments and sending out appointment reminders
• Greeting patients with a warm and welcoming attitude
• Answering phone calls, emails, texts and other inquiries
• Addressing patients’ questions, concerns and requests
• Providing excellent customer service
• Maintaining and updating patient information
• Verifying insurance and ensuring accurate billing practices
• Processing insurance claims, billing and collection of patient payments
• General office duties filing, scanning, faxing, and maintaining a clean working area

Skills: 

• Excellent communication skills: both verbal and written
• Customer service: providing friendly, helpful, patient centered care
• Computer literacy: able to learn dental software as well as trouble shooting, input patient information, keeping current patient records and processing of insurance claims
• Strong organizational skills: managing schedule, patient records and office tasks efficiently
• Problem solving and conflict resolution: able to handle patient issues and concerns effectively
• Discretion and confidentiality: protecting patient information and maintaining professional standards
• Reliable: showing up on time and being a dependable team member
