Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Payroll Bookkeeper!

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Process payroll for clients accurately and timely.
Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity.
Prepare and submit payroll reports to clients.
Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including account reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Review and clean up client books.

Qualifications:

At least 2 years’ experience as a payroll bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.

Hours: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday with 12pm (noon) closure on Fridays between Memorial Day & Labor Day. Required overtime in January.

Pay: $23-$27/hour

Benefits: Health Insurance, Vision Insurance, Retirement (SIMPLE)

Location: On-site - Billings, MT
