CARPENTRY SERVICE TECHNICIAN – East Peoria, IL

LS Building Products is a private, locally owned company, with production and distribution locations throughout the Greater Central Illinois Region. Our goal at LS Building Products is to be the premier distributor of building materials in our markets, and to provide superior customer service and professional support to those we serve. Our service technicians are an integral part of providing superior service to our existing customers.

JOB DUTIES:

· Inspect windows, doors, and cabinets and perform any necessary repairs or replacements

· Obtain any necessary parts for repair or replacement

· Work with internal support to maintain service schedule

· Ensure service vehicle is clean and maintained

REQUIRED SKILLS:

· General knowledge of construction, including window, door and cabinet installation and repair

· Communication skills – verbal and written

· Able to work independently and as part of a team

· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

· Highly organized

· Drivers License with clean driving record

JOB TYPE:Full-time

COMPENSATION:

· Starting at $20/hr (depending on skills and experience)

· Potential annual performance bonus

EDUCATION: High School or Equivalent

EXPERIENCE: 3 Years construction and/or window, door, and cabinet installation/service experience (preferred)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sitting, standing, walking, reaching for extended periods of time
