What does an Associate Estimating Supervisor do?
- Plans, schedules, coordinates, supervises and monitors work assignments of the District Estimators and contract estimators
- Supervises the preparation of construction plans, specifications, estimates and work orders for the construction, extension, reinforcement, relocation, retirement and maintenance of gas and electric distribution facilities in the assigned area of responsibility
- Complies with all applicable laws, codes, construction standards, permits, right of ways, ethics, environmental regulations and gas operation and maintenance (O & M) procedures in the preparation of work and service orders
- Planning, negotiation, business case cost-benefit analysis, and management of projects from inception to completion

BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the preparation of fresh and wholesome hot buffet foods for breakfast and lunch for a hotel serving up to 2500 meals per day ensuring a smooth operation, proper sanitation, and sound management of three to ten employees.

Assists with feeding as indicated (i.e., cutting foods, feeding, assist in dining room supervision, etc.) (*CF) Assists residents with identifying food arrangements (i.e., informing resident with sight problem of foods that are on his/her tray, where it is located, if it is hot/cold, etc.) Records the residents food/fluid intake. Reports changes in the residents eating habits (*CF) Keeps residents water pitchers clean and filled with fresh water (on each shift), and within easy reach of the resident (*CF) Serves between meal and bedtime snacks (*CF) Performs after meal care (i.e., remove trays, clean residents hands, face, clothing, take to bathroom, brush teeth, clean dentures, etc.) Checks rooms for food articles (i.e., food in proper container, unauthorized food items, etc.) Staff Development: Attends and participates in scheduled training and educational classes to maintain current certification as a Nursing Assistant (*CF) Attends and participates in scheduled orientation programs and activities Attends and participates in facility in-service training programs as instructed Safety and Sanitation Washes hands before and after performing any service for the resident Keeps the nurses call system within easy reach of the resident (*CF) Immediately notifies the Charge Nurse of any resident leaving/missing from the facility (*CF) Follows established safety precautions in the performance of all duties Reports any communicable or infectious disease to the Director of Nursing Services and/or to the Infection Control Coordinator Follows established isolation precautions and procedures (*CF) Wears and/or uses safety equipment and supplies (e.g., gait belt, mechanical lifts, etc.) when lifting or moving residents Reports missing/illegible labels and SDSs to your supervisor Equipment and Supply Functions: Uses only the equipment you have been trained to use in a safe manner Reports defective equipment to the Charge Nurse Informs the Charge Nurse of your equipment and supply needs Resident Rights Maintains the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.
