Description
As an Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist, you will bill for the program and services of Northern Rivers and Affiliates. In addition, you will collect on aged Accounts Receivable for Northern Rivers and Affiliates. You will report to the AR Coordinator and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly or quarterly billing for a variety of programs and services governed by contract or grant agreements.
- Review and apply payments received from vendors.
- Collect on aged Accounts Receivable balances on a recurring monthly basis and follow up with multiple payers to effect cash collections of accounts.
- Complete and file fiscal reports on a timely basis in accordance with contract or grant agreements.
- Gain knowledge and proficiency in the billing systems utilized by our organization.\Prepare accounting journal entries and reconcile accounts as assigned.
- Act as back up support to team of A/R billing specialists.
- Prepare analysis, reports, and other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor, Director of Finance or CFO.
Requirements and Education:
- An Associate's Degree preferred.
- Six months of experience is preferred.

Description
As an Administrative Assistant, you will perform clerical functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, and providing information to callers. You will report to the Program Coordinator and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
- Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications.
- Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
- Maintain program shared electronic calendars (daily)
- Process staff requests for assistance with copying, correspondence, and mailings
- Maintain work relationships with Agency colleagues and engage in constructive communication both within and outside the Agency.
- Have a working knowledge of the program operations and functions.
- Follow Agency policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality in all administrative matters.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Education:
- Associates degree preferred and two years of office related experience, or High School Diploma/GED with two or more years experience required

Job Summary | The Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute seeks applications for a tenure-track (or tenured) faculty position at the Associate Professor level in Business Analytics/Supply Chain Management starting Fall 2024. Job Summary | The Department of Physics, Applied Physics, and Astronomy at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the field of Quantum Computing, Quantum Information, and Quantum Technology, with focus on the fundamental aspects or applications of quantum computation, scalability, and error correction on current and future quantum computing devices. Research areas can include but not limited to quantum entanglement, decoherence, and noise in quantum networks, with applications to quantum cryptography, quantum encryption, and secure quantum communications in noisy environments. Possible related areas would also include studying and exploiting the fundamental connections between Quantum Monte Carlo and Quantum Computing, simulating quantum field theory and many-body theory with a quantum computer (in particular, simulating systems with a “sign” problem), quantum communication networks, exotic quantum dynamics, quantum sensing protocols, exotic quantum phases of matter, and theory on the nature of information at the quantum level. With the anticipated of arrival of the IBM Quantum System One on our campus, this hire will have access to explore and implement some of these challenging problems. This hire would be part of a bold effort at RPI to strengthen and extend our current faculty cluster in Quantum Information, and would interact with our current faculty on quantum optics and photon entanglement, quantum field-theory, quantum fluctuations in networks, as well as with researchers from Computer Science, ECSE, Future of Computing Institute, and with the future hires of the recently announced Quantum Constellation. The position also represents a response to federal priorities expressed in the National Quantum Initiative Act. Behavior and Campus Support Worker
You will ensure the security of campus and community residential locations, including working with staff, maintaining communication with resident’s family and guardians, and overseeing resident transportation needs. You will report to the Online/Oncall supervisor and you will work on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure implementation of all applicable emergency systems, agency policies, and program procedures.
- Respond to crises within assigned Residential Program/locations. Ensure response follows agency policy and protocol appropriate to the situation, and ensure that the individual clients behavior management plan(s) are followed. Ensure any physical intervention is conducted following TCI standards. Ensure completion of all forms and appropriate documentation of every restraint.
- Provide support to teams when asked for behavioral interventions and events. Will direct the team in absence of residential supervisor and will be a source of training , supporting and modeling for other staff.
- Ensure the security of campus and community locations, responding to any security concerns. Conduct random checks of assigned locations to ensure safety of residents.
- Be the primary person in charge of calling the police for any resident considered missing, completing or ensuring completion of the Missing Person Report form and canceling Missing Person Reports upon a residents return.
- Ensure contacts have been made with the residents family and guardian for all significant incidents.
- Maintain regular entries in the Online/On call log regarding all significant events that occur, and provide the leadership with specific additional information as. Ensure completion of documentation for all significant incidents.
- Ensure significant incidents are called into the Justice Center as applicable.
- Serve as the central person in charge of off campus trips. Approve and log all off-campus trips and assure such trips have proper staff coverage.
- Oversee and transport clients for medical, mental health, and other essential needs.
- Check and assure that all visitors have prior approval to be on the grounds.
- Be available to hear and document any neighbor concerns.

As a Clinician, you will work as part of an interdisciplinary team with the underserved populations in our community by providing clinical counseling to individuals, families and couples in an outpatient mental health clinic licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH). As a Foster Clinician, you will provide clinical services to children in foster care and support foster families, and families within the foster care system. The Therapeutic Foster Family Program provides foster and pre-adoptive foster homes for abused and neglected children from birth through age 21. As a Clinician in the Intensive Aftercare Prevention program, you will provide home-based clinical services to children and their families to help preserve or reunite them following Northeast Parent & Child Society's stated purpose and mission of protecting children, preserving families, and strengthen communities. The Intensive Aftercare Prevention Program (IAPP) is a home and community-based program assisting families who have children in foster care or children who are at risk of being placed in foster care. You will report to the Program Coordinator and you will work remotely with travel to client homes required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide home and community-based assessment, planning and treatment with individuals, groups and families with those enrolled in our Family Preservation services (the level of intensity / number of direct services hours per family is dependent upon the services in which one is employed)
- Complete necessary all records and client information following agency, county, and state policy and funding requirements
- Provide liaison contact with collateral resources such as referring agencies, schools, family court, and other agency personnel serving on behalf of a child and family as it relates to their treatment
- Responsible for the clinical decisions when assigned and paired to work as a team with a Bachelors Clinical Case Manager.
- Ensure provisions of regular treatment plan meetings and services plan reviews.

As a Clinician in the Youth ACT program, you will help children avoid hospitalizations and out-of-home placements by providing intensive, community-based services to these youth and families. As a Community Service Provider, you will provide home and community-based services to help children with emotional and mental health challenges. Job Summary | The International Exchange Specialist provides immigration advising and assistance for all J-1 visa holding visiting scholars and their dependents. The Specialist assists the Director with institutional compliance as related to the Exchange Visitors; including, reporting and monitoring data in the Student and Immigration Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and in Terra Dotta software. The Specialist is the point person for academic departments requesting visiting scholars and export control, in order to facilitate and streamline the processes for hosting international scholars. The Specialist provides regular information sessions for departments as well as assisting in the development of cultural programming as required by the US Department of State. |

POSITION OVERVIEW
Lifeguard – Albany or Schenectady, NY
Starting rate is $20 per hour!Ideal seasonal position with flexible schedule from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend. Daytime and early evening hours on weekdays and/or weekends.
As a Lifeguard, you will provide rescue and lifesaving services, teach water safety and swim instruction to children and adolescents in program during the summer months, and help maintain our pools for optimal health and safety. You will report to the Director of Therapeutic Recreation and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain order in the swimming pool area to prevent accidents
Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning, administering first aid
Inspect the swimming facilities at the beginning and end of each shift for cleanliness; monitor and record the chlorine content and pH level of the water
Provide students with ongoing swimming instruction based on ability level
Hold students and staff accountable to the rules of the pool area and report any concerns with adherence of these rules to a Residential Supervisor
Work in other areas of the recreational department during inclement weather
Requirements and Education:
Requires an Advance Life Saving certificate or equivalent (must be a certified Lifeguard)
Must be at least 18 years of age
Experience working with children and adolescents and the ability to understand the basics of the therapeutic environment preferred

Job Summary | The Department of Biological Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for tenure-track/tenured faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor levels. We seek passionate and innovative individuals with demonstrated potential to establish a strong externally funded research program and contribute to the teaching mission of the department. The Institute for Data Exploration and Applications (IDEA) enables an opportunity to partner with faculty that are at the forefront of biological data analytics, enabling the modeling and simulation power to advance the quantitative and systems biology approaches that are widely employed in the department. IDEA and the Center for Computational Innovation provide collaborative opportunities to use the fastest supercomputer found at a private university. Per Diem Clinician, Permanency Resource Center (PRC)
As a Per Diem Clinician, you will provide trauma-informed family therapy, child therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention as indicated to individuals, families and groups in a Permanency Resource Center. Per Diem Clinician/Social Worker - Mobile Crisis
Location: Schenectady, NY or Queensbury, NY

As a Clinician for Mobile Crisis, you will provide crisis risk assessments with a diagnosis (with appropriate supervisory approval, per scope of practice), crisis stabilization and interventions, de-escalation techniques and follow-up services to the identified client experiencing emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric crises. These interventions, provided by telephone and on-site mobile visits, will be implemented using a strength-based, trauma-informed, systems-oriented perspective and will include the development of crisis prevention and safety plans; follow-up to evaluate the effectiveness of plans; coordination of services with existing treatment providers; and linkage to additional community-based therapeutic resources and supports. - Provide rapid response to adults, children, adolescents, and families, who are in crisis, experiencing an emotional or behavioral disturbance by phone and on-site within the community, and as assigned, participate in acute care emergency services rotation system designed to facilitate and strengthen community-based crisis intervention services. This includes rotation of schedule to provide coverage during holidays and weekends.
- Conduct risk assessments with a diagnosis (with appropriate supervisory approval, per scope of practice), mental status examinations, and substance abuse screening.

POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Skillbuilder, you will provide targeted skill training to help with independent living and social skills. Goals that the Skill Builder will work on could be Career Planning, Self-Care, Daily Living, Housing, and Money Management, including establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships, how to accept no as an answer, handling conflict with peers and authority figures, and using their coping skills when feeling dysregulated. You will report to the Program Coordinator and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- At a minimum, 50% of the work week is spent face-to-face with clients to provide services designated in the Treatment Plan.
- Provide services based on the youth's needs and preferences as identified in the Treatment Plan.
- Work with treatment team members to identify goals and objectives of treatment, including youth, families, school, and counselors.
- Complete all required documentation and submit it to the Supervisor within the required timeframes.
- Ability to work with diverse consumers who have mental health challenges and may be developmentally delayed. Understand their independent living needs to work with the case manager to find resources in the community for educational and vocational skills and programming for discharge.
Requirements and Education:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- At least 2 years of experience working with children
- Valid driver's license required

Job Summary | The Sr. Major Gift Officer (MGO) will serve as the Senior Regional Director of Development for the Southwest Region of the United States and will be responsible for developing a regular cadence of strategic opportunities focused on engaging existing and prospective major donors with the end goal of qualifying, soliciting, and closing major gifts. This role will serve as the primary strategist and staff person for the Texas Triangle Executive Council. The Sr. MGO must collaborate with and convene other Development & Alumni Engagement stakeholders in the region to ensure a coordinated and thoughtful approach to all activities meant to engage RPI’s leading prospects and donors. These stakeholders include but are not limited to Principal Giving, Major Giving, Alumni Relations, and School-/College-affiliated colleagues. Additionally, the Senior Regional Director of Development carries a portfolio of approximately 125 major gift prospects who have the capacity to make gifts in the range of $100,000 - $2.49 million This position will oversee various special projects in the region as assigned by their director. |

Description
Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of youth and families struggling with behavioral health issues? Do you want to develop and supervise your own team and mentor your staff to improve their clinical skills? As the Team Lead of Home Based Crisis Intervention (HBCI), you will provide clinical supervision, support, and mentorship to your team to help them change lives. The HBCI team provides short-term (up to 6 weeks), intensive intervention to youth and families who are in crisis. We work with parents and caregivers to help them help their children. The short-term format means the work is fast-paced and outcome oriented, which means you and your team will produce meaningful outcomes in a short period of time. You will report to the Chief of Crisis Services and work on-site with travel required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision to the team and be responsible for allocation of staff time; provide training and ensure all team members are kept informed of issues.
- Monitor caseload size and coordinate program intakes and discharges.
- Create rotating call schedule for after-hours / weekend coverage by team members.
- Provide education and outreach to the community about HBCI at Northern Rivers; philosophy, program outcomes, theoretical background etc.
- Develop collaborative relationships with other agencies, schools, hospitals, primary care providers, and local government agencies to help meet the needs of this population so they can achieve and maintain their independence.
- Assist primary clinicians to conduct needs assessments, safety planning and wellness management planning with participants. Connect participants and families with the services and support they need. Provide psychoeducation regarding mental health diagnosis and treatment. Develop treatment using a shared decision-making process with clients.
- Assist primary clinicians to respond to on-call needs of families in crisis and deliver crisis intervention services in home-based environment with flexible scheduling cognizant of family needs, with 24/7 availability nights, weekends and holidays.
- Promote safety of the child, family, and community in the delivery of crisis intervention services.
- Assist primary clinicians to conduct comprehensive assessment of family strengths, values, skills, problems, need and barriers to goal attainment while developing a positive working relationship with the families.
- Collaborate and advocate with formal and information community resources and systems that impact family while teaching family members to advocate for themselves and prepare them for transition and service closure.
Requirements and Education:
- Requires a Master’s degree and at least one year of progressively responsible related experience. Experience in a home-based and/or crisis intervention services program. Candidates with training in the Homebuilder model of crisis intervention are preferred.
- Must be a licensed mental health professional. These include, but are not limited to: Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Clinical/Masters Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, or Licensed Creative Arts Therapist.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

Description
As a Youth Peer Advocate, you will be an ally, mentor, and advocate for clients and families as they contend with the difficulties and uncertainties of mental illness. You will use lived experience to contribute to treatment planning for each participant, and facilitating the team’s development and maintenance of a culture of respect. The Youth Assertive Community Treatment team (ACT) Program is an innovative treatment program. The program serves children with mental illness or serious emotional disturbance and their families. You will report to the Director of Youth Act and work onsite with community-based travel required.
Responsibilities:
- Engage individuals and establish trusting, collaborative relationships directed toward the goals clients identify on their treatment plans
- Contribute to client treatment plans, advocating for clients' needs
- Participate in daily treatment team meetings and work directly with other team members to provide support and assistance to program participants.
- Provide individual face-to-face support to youth and families receiving services
- Spend 70% or more of scheduled work hours in community settings
- Meet with family, youth, and collateral contacts to provide psychoeducation about serious mental illness
- Be a role model, educate recipients about self-help techniques and self-help group processes, teach effective coping strategies based on personal experience, teach symptom management skills, assist in clarifying rehabilitation and recovery goals, and assist in the development of community support systems and networks.
Requirements and Education:
- High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree preferred
- A valid New York State driver’s license.
- Complete and obtain the NYCPS-Provisional certification for review by the New York Peer Specialist Certification Board (NYPSCB) within the agreed-upon time of start date.
