Ambulance Staffing Supervisor needed!
Nassau Ambulance is looking to hire for the position of Ambulance Staffing Supervisor for an exciting opportunity to coordinate staff, services and help enhance a prehospital support system for Two Towns in Rensselaer County NY.
Minimum Qualifications:
• NYS Certified EMT-B or above
• 5 years of experience in pre-hospital setting.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License or equivalent
• 2 years of experience with managing or supervising staff
• Ability to cooperatively work with both paid and volunteer personnel
• Ability to organize, manage, train and communicate with all staff
• Competency with Microsoft Office products
Desired Qualifications:
• AHA BLS Instructor
• NYS CLI or CIC
• Experience with Physio products
• Managerial experience in EMS Charts
Job Highlights
• This position is responsible for assisting in the direction, planning, implementation, and maintenance of a Basic Life Support Emergency Medical Service.
• Oversee the Operations: scheduling of staff, equipment acquisition and maintenance, maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations governing ambulance operations.
• Oversee the QA/QI program for the agency in coordination with the medical director.
• Maintain standard operating policies, procedures and guidelines for services, personnel, equipment, and vehicles.
• Oversee coaching, guidance, discipline, and/or termination of team members.
• Report to the Board of Directors regarding EMS performance.
