POSITION OVERVIEW
School Based Clinician
The School Based Clinician is responsible for providing clinical services to youth and their families according to program and regulatory guidelines, ensuring that all services are strengths-based, individualized, and comprehensive according to need.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide clinical services to youth and their families as assigned.
- Participate in the integrated service planning process for all youths enrolled.
- Ensure all service plans are strengths-based, individualized, and comprehensive according to need.
- Monitor the effectiveness of integrated service plans and review.
- Ensure all service are coordinated with other service providers.
- Access supports in the School or in the community as indicated.
- Assist families as needed in accessing assessments and recommendations for psychotropic medication.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires a Masters degree, MSW or equivalent.
- Experience, training, or education commensurate with working with children with serious and persistent emotional disturbance is desired.
- Experience with working in a school environment is preferred.
- Must be licensed prior to starting, or have an active limited permit. LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-R preferred.
- Required to pass licensing exam within six months of employment if working with a limited permit.
- Drivers license is required.

Job Summary | The Department of Science & Technology Studies (STS) in the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute seeks a tenure track/tenured Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor specializing in Community Engagement and Community-Based Research and whose research and teaching is grounded in Science and Technology Studies (STS). The successful candidate will extend the STS research portfolio in the areas of public understanding of science, citizen science, community-based participatory research, participatory action research, participatory design, and/or public engagement in science and technology policymaking. They will teach required courses for the majors in Science, Technology, and Society; Design, Innovation and Society; and Sustainability Studies, as well as the PhD program in Science and Technology Studies. The position is 40% teaching, 40% research, 20% service. |
Minimum Qualifications | Applicants must have a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in Science and Technology Studies or a related field, such as Sociology, Anthropology, Design Studies, Geography, or Media Studies. Applicants must have knowledge of, commitment to, and expertise in community engagement and community-based research. Candidates must also be able to present evidence of effective teaching, and have the ability to demonstrate, through accomplishment, promise of academic, scholarly and/or research achievement. We seek a scholar who will contribute to the STS Department’s broader commitments to socially engaged STS and design of alternative futures. STS features a wide range of disciplinary and interdisciplinary researchers, including historians, sociologists, anthropologists, political scientists, and media studies scholars. Scholarship that takes into account perspectives from marginalized communities and pedagogical practice that values diversity and inclusivity will be prioritized. Job Summary | Endowed Constellation Faculty in Future Chips at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute We are especially interested in candidates who have a demonstrated ability to perform high impact research in semiconductor technology to address the next generation challenges in computing. Areas of focus are rooted in fundamental science and engineering that drive advances in microelectronics, such as heterogeneous integration, advanced logic, advanced packaging, and power electronics. Physics of materials is also important to making these advances and is, therefore, an area of interest. The ideal candidates are expected to develop an internationally recognized, externally funded, scientific program in chip technology for the future of computing. The Future Chips Constellation will be a key stakeholder in the Center for Materials, Devices, and Integrated Systems (cMDIS) which houses the Microscale and Nanoscale Cleanroom and the Nanoscale Characterization Core. Job Summary | The Department of Electrical, Computer, and Systems Engineering (ECSE) at RENSSELAER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE in Troy, NY invites applications for multiple tenured/tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant and Associate Professor levels. Job Summary | The Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences (E&ES) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for one open rank, and one assistant level tenure-track/tenured position, both in Earth Systems Science. Research areas in the E&ES Department currently include experimental, analytical, and environmental geochemistry, petrology of Earth’s systems, biogeochemistry, astrobiology, geomicrobiology, and modern and ancient climate change. Lecturer of Biomedical Engineering Position at Union College
The Department of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering at Union College invites applications for a Lecturer of Biomedical Engineering position, beginning Fall 2024. The position is renewable with a contract period of three years. After six years of employment at Union, Lecturers are eligible for promotion to Senior Lecturer with the possibility of contract lengths up to five years. The annual salary range for this position is $81,000 - $84,000. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the physical order of the building and therapeutic environment of the units.

Assistant Athletic Trainer
Pay Status and Classification: Exempt, Regular full-time. This is a 12 month position.
Supervisor: Head Athletic Trainer/Student-Athlete Program Director
Position Purpose: Under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer, the Assistant Athletic Trainer supports the athletic department by providing care to student-athletes including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Treatment: Develop and implement injury prevention programs. Provide first aid and emergency care when necessary. Evaluate and diagnose athletic injuries. Design and monitor rehabilitation programs for injured student athletes. Provides therapeutic treatment such as taping, bracing, and modalities.
- Communication and Collaboration: Educate student athletes on care and prevention of athletic injuries. Provide guidance on proper conditioning techniques. Communicate effectively with coaches and student athletes about injury status and progress. Coordinates with physicians and healthcare providers as needed.
- Administration: Provides support with the daily operations of the athletic training room and assists with the supervision of work study students. Electronic medical record keeping of athletic injuries, treatments, and rehabilitation progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or a related field required. Master’s degree and experience with National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) regulations and compliance knowledge preferred.
- National Athletic Trainers Association certified and in good standing with the Board of Certification (BOC) for athletic trainers.
- First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, and Automated External Defibrillator certifications required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to work in inclement weather.
- Physical requirements: Ability to engage in various physical activities, which may include lifting items of different weights of 25 pounds and more, and standing for extended periods.

The annual salary range this position is $48,000.00-$52,000.00.
