We are seeking a high energy, motivated Night Warehouse Supervisor in our Coxsackie, NY Distribution Center.
The primary duties of the Night Shift Supervisor will strive to achieve the production and
distribution objectives of the company using supervisory methods and coaching techniques. Is
responsible for warehouse training, developing warehouse personnel to ensure accurate, on
time, and damage free movement of product shipped out of the warehouse. Will help build a
team environment of well-trained employees. Employ excellent communication skills to facilitate
completion of night shift job duties. Follow and promote the accepted safety practices to
maintain a safe working environment. Emphasis will be placed on proper truck loading and
breakage and damaged product control ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Position will also learn the processes and serve as a back up to the night managers in the areas
of shift production set up; understanding how to and executing on waving, label creation, job
assignment, invoicing, and other administrative tasks as needed to ensure successful night shift
work completion in the absence of the night shift Manager.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESULTS
• Must be able to multi-task and stay on top of highly complex processes with a large
amount of data.
• Must be able to maintain composure and stay focused in times of stress.
• Must be able to recognize problems at an early stage and be able to communicate and
trouble shoot to resolve the problems.
• Must possess good communication skills to keep night management fully apprised of
situations that arise. When necessary, will need to contact technical support to resolve
system and software problems.
• Supervises warehouse union employees. Working knowledge and a thorough
understanding of the Collective Bargaining Unit Contract is required.
• Expected to provide staff coaching for improvement as well as praise for a job well done.
• Works with all hourly employees to insure the accurate picking of orders and proper
loading of trucks.
• Must have knowledge of SAP, Lucas, and all warehouse management systems.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules,
and regulations
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises members of the night warehouse team. Works closely with Management to direct the
workflow in an efficient and professional manner. Is responsible for providing effective
leadership while fostering a positive team environment and providing overall direction,
coordination, and evaluation of the department. Performs supervisory responsibilities in
accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are
not limited to training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; recognizing,
rewarding, and coaching; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

EXPERIENCE:
-High School Diploma or equivalent, college preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
-Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer systems.
-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals.

common fractions, and decimals.
-Must be a results oriented professional with excellent verbal and written communication

Job Summary | The Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute seeks applications for a tenure-track (or tenured) faculty position at the Associate Professor level in Business Analytics/Supply Chain Management starting Fall 2024. Candidates must have a PhD degree from an accredited university in Analytics, Operations Research, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field, along with demonstrated evidence to produce original and innovative scholarly work with publications in premier business journals. Job Summary | The Administrative Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Institute Advancement’s advancement operations teams. Job Summary | The Economic and Industry Analyst will analyze and make recommendations for progress of the sustainable fashion industry, from farms and new materials to processing to brands and design, in New York State and in general (in the U.S. and worldwide). The Analyst will review and keep abreast of pertinent studies and research, and will seek information from industry data sources, carry out interviews and surveys, and analyze and interpret the information. The work is based at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as part of the Fashion Innovation Center (FIC). The Analyst will interact with FIC members and participants to learn about the industry, discuss sustainable fashion industry problems and potential solutions, consider ways to advance the industry in New York State, and document relevant information and findings in report, paper, and/or book form. The Analyst will also provide suggestions where relevant to innovative project participants in the FIC’s accelerator. The Analyst will work closely with the Center Director and other FIC members. |

Job Summary | The Department of Biological Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for tenure-track/tenured faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor levels. We seek passionate and innovative individuals with demonstrated potential to establish a strong externally funded research program and contribute to the teaching mission of the department. All exceptional candidates will be considered, and we encourage applications from individuals who will bring a unique research approach and skill set to address fundamental problems in neurobiology, cell and developmental, biology, broadly defined. Successful candidates will complement the department research strengths in cellular neuroscience, circadian biology, molecular motors & cytoskeleton dynamics, muscle physiology & disease, neurodegeneration, protein design, folding, structure & functional dynamics, protein misfolding in human disease, microbiology & host-pathogen interactions, biophysics of extreme environments, and freshwater ecology & climate change. The successful candidate will join the faculty in the 218,000 square foot Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies (CBIS), which contains staff-supported core facilities and promotes an atmosphere for interdisciplinary collaboration. The Institute for Data Exploration and Applications (IDEA) enables an opportunity to partner with faculty that are at the forefront of biological data analytics, enabling the modeling and simulation power to advance the quantitative and systems biology approaches that are widely employed in the department. IDEA and the Center for Computational Innovation provide collaborative opportunities to use the fastest supercomputer found at a private university. Job Summary | The International Exchange Specialist provides immigration advising and assistance for all J-1 visa holding visiting scholars and their dependents. The Specialist assists the Director with institutional compliance as related to the Exchange Visitors; including, reporting and monitoring data in the Student and Immigration Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and in Terra Dotta software. The Specialist is the point person for academic departments requesting visiting scholars and export control, in order to facilitate and streamline the processes for hosting international scholars. Director of Student Conduct & Conflict Resolution
Pay Status and Classification: Exempt, Regular full-time.
Supervisor: Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, Campus Living & Learning
Position Purpose: Oversees the community standards process and educates campus stakeholders on the values and expectations for living, working, and learning in the Union College community. Responsible for the administration and development of the Union College Code of Student Conduct. Manages institutional risk when processing student conduct cases, conducts training and outreach, provides consultation on student conduct issues, and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Carries out the mission of Union College and the Division of Student Affairs.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Student Accountability: Oversees all matters related to the functioning of the non-academic campus conduct system, the maintenance of conduct records, and the management of the contracted conduct system from Maxient. Investigates and ensures timely resolution of all reports of student conduct violations (e.g., interviews; investigations; gathering and assessing evidence; interim support measures; hearings; referrals; preparing confidential reports containing findings; record-keeping; etc.). Receives, processes, investigates, monitors, and reports on bias incident reports involving students. Engages effectively with students in developmentally and educationally focused conversations to address and resolve student conduct matters. Compiles and analyzes data from Maxient and other sources to propose and support initiatives in conduct management. Provides support as needed for Title IX case management, referrals, investigations and hearing boards.
- Conflict Resolution: Offers, where appropriate, alternative forms of dispute resolution. Oversees the provision of conflict resolution services -- including mediation, conflict coaching, restorative practices, and facilitated dialogue -- to students upon request (e.g., meeting with complaining parties and using independent judgment to offer conflict resolution and problem-solving alternatives, when appropriate and applicable).
- Programming: Collaborates with divisional and institutional partners to create and assess an educational programming plan to target key areas of student behavioral concerns, including alcohol use, drug use, sexual misconduct, interpersonal conflict, and safety education. Educates students about their rights and responsibilities through active and passive programming. Monitors student compliance with online education requirements related to Title IX, alcohol & other drugs, and student behavior.
- Staff Development: Uses a distributive model for conduct cases and trains various campus judicial officers. Monitors, trains, and updates judicial officers on all relevant topics, strategies, and techniques in student conduct. Recruits, trains and advises the Student Conduct Committee, Organizational Misconduct Committee, Judicial Hearing Board, and other boards as assigned.
- Student Health and Safety: Monitors students for signs of academic difficulties and/or with other behavioral and developmental issues, intervening and referring to services as needed. Participates in regular professional staff on-call rotation, providing crisis intervention and serving as a resource or referral agent. Participates in Crisis Assessment and Risk Evaluation (CARE) team meetings and provides culturally responsive support to students.
- Administration: Manages the day-to-day functions of the Dean of Students Office, including email response and supervision of the work-study program. Updates and maintains corresponding websites regularly, with proper archiving of code updates. Collaborates with Campus Safety to manage Clery Report requirements. Plans an annual budget in consultation with the assistant vice-president and finance office. Reconciles purchases in a timely fashion and oversees staff use of purchasing cards. Serves on college committees as assigned. Offers to pitch in to help colleagues during crunch times and overlapping deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration or related field and 5-7 years of student affairs experience or equivalent, and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and work experience. Knowledge of residential liberal arts college administration is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a thorough understanding of current best practices in the fields of student accountability and an awareness of emerging issues in higher education, student conduct, community building, and student learning.
- Experience with leadership development programs and training, including demonstrated success with the development of educational programming related to risk management, hazing, student conduct, alcohol education, sexual assault prevention, and diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB).

Compensation
The annual salary range this position is $69,00.00 - $73,000.00. Position Purpose:

Compensation
Major Gifts Officer: The annual salary range for the Major Gifts Officer is $70,000.00-$80,000.00.
Senior Major Gifts Officer: The annual salary range for the Senior Major Gifts Officer is $93,000.00-$97,000.00.
Depending on the candidate's experience, candidates may be considered for either the Major Gifts Officer or Senior Major Gifts Officer position.
Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Director of Advancement Information Services
Pay Status and Classification: Exempt, Regular full-time. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
Supervisor: Vice President for College Relations
Position Purpose: Plays a pivotal role within the College Relations department, responsible for overseeing the efficient utilization and maintenance of the constituent management system. Provides leadership in system implementations, conversions, and upgrades, ensuring seamless operations to support fundraising and engagement efforts. Leads a team dedicated to data governance and advancement services, contributing to the strategic alignment and success of College Relations (CR).
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Reporting and Analytics: Designs and implements a robust structure for data analytics, dashboards, and reporting. Facilitates informed decision-making. Ensures data integrity while identifying donor trends. Collaborates with the Director of Operations on prospect management metrics. Facilitates accurate and timely completion of external surveys.
- Software Management and Innovation: Serves as the steward of the division’s customer relationship management system (CRM), overseeing its effective utilization. Serves as the project manager for the anticipated CRM migration starting in fiscal year 2024-2025. Develops comprehensive training materials, workshops, and documentation to empower divisional staff in maximizing the CRM's capabilities and fostering innovation in advancement practices.
- Data Governance and Compliance: Ensures strict adherence to fundraising regulations, policies, and best practices to uphold the accuracy, integrity, and security of constituent data. Manages gift, pledge, and receipt processes in compliance with internal revenue service, financial accounting standards regulations, payment card industry security council, the council for advancement and support of education guidelines, and auditors' requirements.
- Strategic Alignment: Acts as the primary liaison for College Relations with Finance and Information Technology Services (ITS) to foster collaboration and ensure strategic alignment. Including working closely with Finance on aligning financial reporting periods, fund reconciliations, review of gift processes and controls, and auditing schedules, and working with ITS to ensure CR systems operate effectively and met all data security requirements and ensure
- Staff Management: Promotes a culture of excellence, teamwork, and collaboration among staff, providing clear direction, setting priorities, and fostering a supportive environment for professional growth. Establishes and monitors well-defined, measurable goals for each team member, offering guidance, support, and professional development resources to enhance their effectiveness and achieve organizational objectives.
- Budgeting: Prepares a fiscal year budget in partnership with the Office of the VP for College Relations. Reviews and approves expenditures, consulting with Finance and other authorities as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven years of progressive experience in higher education advancement, with a strong understanding of fundraising principles and practices, or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience. An Advanced degree in information management, data science, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in system administration, networking, relational databases, programming, and documentation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Preferred expertise with Ellucian by Colleague and Salesforce technology, preferably including experience with CRM migration projects.
- Exceptional leadership, judgment, and decision-making skills, with a proven ability to introduce and drive innovation in ways large and small through effective project management.
- Able to foster and enhance a thriving, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community, while promoting a sense of belonging among students, alumni, faculty, and staff colleagues.
- Dedication to philanthropic support of higher education and alignment with the values and mission of the institution.
