Job Summary | The Production Coordinator will plan and coordinate production operations (stage, audio, video, IT) for assigned projects that come into the EMPAC facility. The Production Coordinator will have extensive communications and interaction with internal and external customers in order to plan events. This is a 30 hour per week (on average, 0.75 FTE) position, and the incumbent will be eligible for participation in health insurance and retirement plan. |

Job Summary | The Program Administrator, Sr manages activities of the Center of Excellence in Digital Game Development at RPI, also known as the Digital Gaming Hub, administered through the Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences Program in the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. The Program Administrator, Sr is responsible for supervision and management of tasks related to the Hub’s mission, including community management, outreach, events planning and execution, assessment and reporting, and program development. Job Summary | The Assistant Director (AD) of Student Activities is responsible for planning, facilitating and assisting in the coordination of student club programs on campus. The incumbent will develop programs working with clubs and other campus departments focusing on diversity and inclusion, community involvement/engagement, student leadership and operations as an advocate for student clubs. The AD will work with the staff to develop opportunities for servant leadership growth and development. Director of Equal Opportunity and Title IX Coordinator
Pay Status and Classification: Exempt, full-time
Supervisor: Vice President and Chief of Staff
Position Purpose: Under general direction by the Vice President and Chief of Staff, Office of the President, works collaboratively with various departments, including Student Affairs, Human Resources, Academic Affairs, Campus Safety and the Chief Diversity Officer to ensure the College’s adherence to Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Amendments to the Clery Act, New York State Education Law Article 129-B, and other federal and state laws governing gender-based misconduct, discrimination, harassment and equal opportunity. Plays a pivotal role in fostering and securing a nurturing environment conducive to academic and personal growth of all College community members.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Compliance: Facilitates compliance with all procedures, requirements and timeframes outlined in the College’s Title IX Policy, Gender-based Misconduct Policy, and the Policy Prohibiting Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation in Employment. Leads an effort to review and revise policies in response to changes in governing laws, regulations, and guidance. Reviews and compiles reports in compliance with federal and state law and to identify and address any patterns or systemic problems of reports of harassment and misconduct within the College community. Completes annual assessment report of progress to goals.
- Process Oversight: Oversees and coordinates investigations, responses, and resolutions to complaints under the Title IX Policy, the Gender-based Misconduct Policy, and the Policy Prohibiting Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation in Employment. Assures that investigation and resolution processes are conducted in a fair, timely, impartial, respectful, and thorough manner.
- Collaboration & Partnership: Collaborates with colleagues in Student Affairs and Human Resources to identify topics, design and deliver student and employee training including compliance content training (e.g. NCAA Title IX requirements, new student orientation requirements, student training pursuant to New York Education Law Article 129-B, etc.). Coordinates with local organizations and service providers to ensure our community members have access to confidential resources. Manages partnerships with other external agencies with which the College has a partnership in executing its responsibilities under Title IX and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Supervision: Selects, trains, assigns and oversees designated roles including Deputy Title IX Coordinators, investigators, adjudication panel members, appellate panel members and advisors; ensures all are adequately trained in compliance with federal and New York State law.
Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in a related field such as human resources, law, social justice, higher education administration or a relevant discipline and/or a Juris Doctorate, and a minimum of three years of experience in equal opportunity compliance, Title IX administration, or a related field, preferably in a higher education or nonprofit organizational setting.
- Extensive experience working on compliance with Title IX, Title VII, ADA, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Section 504 and related regulatory requirements.
- Certification and/or training as required by federal and New York State law to serve in the position, or ability to obtain such certification and training prior to commencement of employment.
- Demonstrated expertise in federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to equal opportunity, affirmative action, discrimination and harassment, including comprehensive knowledge of Title VII, Title IX, the Clery Act, New York State Education Law Article 129-B or similar state laws, and related guidance from the United States Department of Education and applicable state authorities.

Custodian - Team Leader
Position purpose: Oversees the custodial staff and ensures that assigned campus facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. - Supervision and Leadership: Leads, supervises, and coordinates the activities of the custodial team to ensure all assigned tasks are completed. - Communication and Collaboration: Communicates effectively with the Supervisor of Building Maintenance and other staff members about cleaning schedules, and needs. Resolves any custodian related concerns promptly. Pitches in to assist colleagues as needed.
- Operations: Monitors and manages inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Executes special cleaning tasks as requested, beyond routine daily cleaning duties. Stays informed about standards for the use, handling, and disposal of cleaning chemicals. Supports the work request system's administrative functions related to cleaning tasks.
- Administration: Processes monthly requests for cleaning supplies. Approves bi-weekly time sheets for all applicable custodians. Attends seminars and other courses of study designed to improve job performance. Complies with departmental and college policies and procedures. Schedules all vacation and absence time off for their team. Schedules appropriate staffing for major events such as ReUnion, Commencement, Trustees, etc.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of three years of custodial experience. A minimum of three years of supervisory experience within a custodial environment is preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and special events.
- Thorough knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper handling, and disposal procedures.
- Must have a valid New York State Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Physical requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, and bending, as well as the capability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.

Position Purpose: Oversees and directs the operations, vision, and programs for Greek life at Union College by facilitating an environment where members of the Greek community can be challenged and supported in their personal growth, efforts, and experiences. Serves as a trusted advisor to students. Coordinates recruitment/intake and the annual review processes for all student Greek letter organizations. Designs and implements leadership development programs for the Greek community, including programming in the areas of risk management, membership recruitment/intake and education; problem resolution, and community planning.
- Supervision: Supervises the Community Director for Greek Houses. Indirectly supervises Greek house managers and part-time party monitors. Guides and supports the community director and student staff community development efforts, including the implementation of curricular engagement guides and corresponding assessments.
- Student Health and Safety: Monitors and intervenes with students who may be struggling academically and/or with other behavioral and developmental issues. Refers accordingly to services as needed. Participates in regular professional staff on-call rotation, providing crisis intervention and serving as a resource or referral agent. Understands and enforces Code of Student Conduct and other policies regarding behavior, safety, security, health, and other matters in cooperation with the appropriate offices. Serves as a campus judicial hearing officer. Participates in CARE team meetings and provides culturally responsive support to students.
- Collaboration: Builds relationships with alumni, donors, and other stakeholders to advance the Greek Life program and support its mission. Works in collaboration with designated staff in College Relations to interface with fraternity and sorority alumni. Serves as the liaison to national organizations, chapter advisors, and other College departments.
- Administration: Holds regular office hours to address student and staff needs. Manages the budget for the Greek Life department, allocating resources to support programming, events, and operational expenses. Attends campus community events. Serves on college committees as assigned. Assists with administrative office duties. Offers to pitch in to help colleagues during crunch times and overlapping deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration or related field and 3-5 years of student affairs experience or equivalent, and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience. Knowledge of residential liberal arts college administration is desirable Knowledge of residential liberal arts college administration is desirable.
- Knowledge of National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities, North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) fraternities, National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO) organizations. Job Description:
Information Technology Services (ITS) at the University at Albany seeks applicants for a Research Technology Analyst. The successful candidate works closely with the research community across a wide range of disciplines to deliver analytical and computational IT solutions in a complex, Carnegie 1 research environment. As part of the university's commitment to advancing scholarship and training to the next generation of scientists, the Research Technology Analyst works directly with researchers from pre-grant consultation to managing systems and equipment for ongoing endeavors. They play a critical role in supporting, informing, and promoting IT services throughout the research lifecycle.
The Research Technology Analyst is intellectually curious, creative, and enjoys working with others to identify ways that sophisticated technologies can be used to explore complex problems. They have the knowledge and expertise to balance the needs of individual researchers while addressing security, compliance, and policy requirements in a sophisticated research environment. The successful candidate is comfortable working with interdisciplinary audiences, both independently and as part of a team. Primary Responsibilities:
Managing relationships/advocating on behalf of the research community:
- Foster and maintain communication with researchers of the University and with others in ITS regarding service planning and delivery.
- Work with researchers and other technology professionals to address the complex needs of the research enterprise while promoting and maintaining ITS standards and best practices regarding technical architectural, security, policy, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate and administer research systems/applications development and account management.
- Provide subject matter expertise for advanced data analytics/statistics, visualization, and computational technologies for a range of applications in a research setting.
- Provide and support the development of researchers' technical skill sets.
Delivering analytical and computational IT solutions to the academic and research community:
- Maintain and support research application hosting.
- Implement and maintain managed scientific computing environments.
- Maintain the security posture for assigned systems and applications in accordance with ITS policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of research systems standards.
- Organize and modify research storage requirements.
- Provide research Linux support.
- Coordinate with researchers and ITS field support staff to maintain specialized desktop and research lab workstations.
Other Responsibilities:
- Actively participate, as needed, in ITS and campus projects.
- Be available to provide scheduled support and consultation outside normal business hours, including occasional evenings, holidays, or weekends, within reasonable professional obligation and expectation.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
- At least 2 years' experience with the following:
- Command line interface (CLI)
- Working with and managing scalable or parallel programming
- Automating common tasks in Linux using a scripting language such as Bash or Python
- Experience working with a variety of scientific software packages and environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
- S. degree from a college or University accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Quantitative Social Sciences, or related STEM field.
- Demonstrated understanding of statistical hypothesis testing and experimental design, data visualization techniques and tools. Academic or professional experience using statistical methodologies
- At least 2 years' experience with the following:
- High-performance computing
- Basic web-delivered data visualization applications
- Facilitating user-based software applications that enable research or instructional activities (e.g., statistical software such as R, Python or commercial software products, and associated data visualization technologies such as GGPlot, GoogleVis, Shiny, Plotly, D3)
- Fundamentals of data management, preservation, and reproducibility
Additional Information: Professional Rank and Salary Grade: Senior Programmer/Analyst, SL4; $80,000-85,000.
