Job Summary | The Department of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Nuclear Engineering (MANE) at RENSSELAER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE in Troy, NY, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Mechanical Engineering. Job Summary | The Department of Physics, Applied Physics, and Astronomy at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the field of Quantum Computing, Quantum Information, and Quantum Technology, with focus on the fundamental aspects or applications of quantum computation, scalability, and error correction on current and future quantum computing devices. Research areas can include but not limited to quantum entanglement, decoherence, and noise in quantum networks, with applications to quantum cryptography, quantum encryption, and secure quantum communications in noisy environments. Possible related areas would also include studying and exploiting the fundamental connections between Quantum Monte Carlo and Quantum Computing, simulating quantum field theory and many-body theory with a quantum computer (in particular, simulating systems with a “sign” problem), quantum communication networks, exotic quantum dynamics, quantum sensing protocols, exotic quantum phases of matter, and theory on the nature of information at the quantum level. With the anticipated of arrival of the IBM Quantum System One on our campus, this hire will have access to explore and implement some of these challenging problems. This hire would be part of a bold effort at RPI to strengthen and extend our current faculty cluster in Quantum Information, and would interact with our current faculty on quantum optics and photon entanglement, quantum field-theory, quantum fluctuations in networks, as well as with researchers from Computer Science, ECSE, Future of Computing Institute, and with the future hires of the recently announced Quantum Constellation. The position also represents a response to federal priorities expressed in the National Quantum Initiative Act. The successful candidate will establish/maintain and externally funded research program, participate in collaborative, multi-investigator research and research training initiatives, and contribute to the high impact teaching program in the Department of Physics, Applied Physics, and Astronomy. Postdoctoral research experience and a strong early record of publication in leading journals is preferred. The candidate is expected to work in an interdisciplinary and collaborative research environment. |

Position Summary
Provide daily therapeutic care and programming according to Agency and other governing bodies (LDSS, OCFS, CSE, etc.) standards and requirements for adolescent clients who are emotionally disturbed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Job Summary | The Administrative Specialist serves as the primary point of contact in the Office of the President for visitors and callers and is responsible for ensuring that all parties receive prompt, professional and courteous attention when contacting the President’s Office. The Administrative Specialist may independently respond to inquiries, assist the visitor/caller on appropriate next steps, or direct to the appropriate person or department. In addition, the Specialist acts as the Building Coordinator for the Troy Building; is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the offices on the 3rd and 4th floors designated to the President; ensures that office supplies and equipment are inventoried and maintained; and ensures that electronic and paper records are filed and/or destroyed as appropriate. As a Transition Coordinator, you will coordinate transition services and instruction to enable students to reach their fullest potential and be able to live, learn and earn in their community as an adult. You will report to the Program Manager and will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Work with NHS staff, Clinical staff, Parents/guardians, outside service providers and identified students to:
- Design a realistic discharge plan that is guided by each youth’s wishes, hopes and dreams
- Coordinate your client driven discharge planning process with local OCFS, OMH, and NYSED representatives that supports a client-driven plan which integrates housing, health and medical care, education and employment needs.
- Coordinate a set of vocational and transitional related activities including instruction, community experiences, employment and volunteer experiences, and the acquisition of daily living skills.
- Examine/identify post secondary vocational training options
- Respectfully honor each youth’s feelings about past and current relationships and ensure that when needed individuals will have the opportunity to work on issues of grief, loss and enduring relationships
- Complete a Permanency Pact and identify specific people who agree to offer life long supports (either related or not)
- Develop a Circle of Supportand identify specific people who agree to advocate for and support the student during the transition process
- Promote active involvement of identified students in planning and implementing the transition component of their IEP.
- Coordinate services to ensure that each identified student has an accurate Work Skills Employability Profile and earns a Regents Certificate of Work Readiness upon graduation from the Neil Hellman School
- Coordinate transition portfolios for each identified student.
- Provide 6 months of follow up and maintain post-NHS discharge statistics for each identified student.

Responsibilities:
- Follow all Agency policies and procedures, along with state and federal regulations about our school and students.

Job Summary | The Economic and Industry Analyst will analyze and make recommendations for progress of the sustainable fashion industry, from farms and new materials to processing to brands and design, in New York State and in general (in the U.S. and worldwide). As a Case Manager, Regional Permanency Resource Center you will provide supportive services and case management services to adoptive, guardianship and kinship families so they are able to make informed decisions with regards to services and supports that best meet their needs. Lecturer of Biomedical Engineering Position at Union College
The Department of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering at Union College invites applications for a Lecturer of Biomedical Engineering position, beginning Fall 2024. The position is renewable with a contract period of three years. Clinical Case Manager, Intensive Aftercare Prevention Program
As a Clinical Case Manager in the Intensive Aftercare Prevention Program, you will provide six to nine months of intensive services to families whose children are either at risk of being removed from their homes or are already in placement. The goals of the program are to prevent out-of-home placement for troubled children, provide a safe environment to return children already in placement, and prevent future out-of-home placement. - Provide home and community services to individuals, groups, and families as prescribed in the treatment plan for those enrolled in our Family Preservation Services.
- Educate families in a variety of social-emotional and parenting skills such as communication, discipline, anger management, emotional regulation, attunement, caregiver affect management, decision making, problem-solving, social skill building, budgeting, family and home organization, behavioral management, etc.

As a Peer Support Specialist, you will be a member of the Mobile Team, assisting the clinicians on Mobile visits and providing support and advocacy to individuals in crisis. You will also be a resource to the clinicians and case manager, through sharing their knowledge of common challenges individuals with SPMI endure and sharing knowledge about community resources. - Collaborate with service providers involved with individuals with SPMI.

- Educate and empower clients and their supports regarding their roles in developing crisis plans and in crisis prevention.
- Educate service providers regarding an individual's role in developing a crisis plan for themselves and in crisis prevention. Ensure that the individual is an integral part of the crisis planning process.
- Inform service providers (including Mobile Crisis and PCFC providers) regarding person- centered and strength-based practices. Maintain and model a focus on strengths.
- Utilize clinicians and clinical supervisor for advocacy for individuals served.
- Ensure that clients are satisfied with the services they are receiving and, if not, help them advocate for what they need.
- Educate individuals and primary caretakers on how to advocate if services are not meeting their needs.

| Reporting to the Provost, the Dean is the chief academic officer for the School of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences (HASS). The Dean oversees and approves all academic programs and policies and is accountable for the advancement of both teaching and research initiatives. Additionally, the Dean is instrumental in recruiting, promoting, and nurturing a welcoming community of belonging and inclusion for students, faculty, staff, and professionals. The Dean ensures excellence across academic and research endeavors, engaging in strategic planning and managing administrative and financial matters. As a member of the Dean’s Council and Provost’s Leadership Team, the Dean contributes to broader Institutional decision-making processes. RPI seeks an individual with many of the following experiences and attributes to serve as the next Dean of HASS:

Job Summary | The Sr. Prospect Management Analyst applies their strong data, business intelligence and prospect research skills to coach fundraising staff to be able to maximize their productivity. The Sr. Prospect Management Analyst contributes to the division’s focus on portfolio optimization to improve fundraising performance. Using business intelligence and prospect research tools, the Sr. Prospect Management Analyst supports Institute Advancement’s efforts to prioritize prospects within an individual fundraiser's portfolio. In this varied, cross-functional role, Sr. Prospect Management Analyst is expected to deliver innovative solutions through synthesizing prospecting strategies and management processes together with enriched data-driven analyses. |

Representative Job Duties | Some of the duties for this position include: Lead regular meetings with individual fundraisers to review prospect data, identify opportunities to advance cultivation, assess performance on overall goals, and progress within individual prospect portfolios. Guide individual fundraisers and development staff by providing recommendations for potential major donors for cultivation and solicitation. Analyze data to help drive prospect discovery and prioritize the top prospective donors for qualification by development staff. Create lists on an ad-hoc basis as requested by prospect development team members or fundraising partner to support fundraising initiatives by incorporating the use of database segmentation analysis, external resources, electronic screenings, and peer-review/focus group results. Assist in managing pipeline and goal reporting for the campaign and ensure progress toward annual goals is documented and continually updated for major, principal, and capital fundraising outcomes in close collaboration with fundraising staff. Collaborate with various teams across the division to gather input for refining prospect portfolios. Contribute to the division's focus on improving fundraising performance through effective portfolio optimization. Utilize business intelligence tools to assess and enhance the composition of fundraisers' portfolios. Analyze fundraiser portfolio activity to evaluate the success of outreach strategy. Conduct in-depth data analyses to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in prospect management. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making processes and refine prospecting strategies. Assist in the maintenance of fundraiser portfolios and discovery pools, including through the use of batch upload tools. Educate frontline fundraisers in applying analytics toward achieving their individual goals. |

Job Summary | The Sr. Human Resources Specialist for Title IX and Employee Relations will provide consultation, investigation, and resolution of employee relations and Title IX/Sexual Misconduct complaints and will create and maintain appropriate documentation including logs of case activity and provide detailed and summary reports as required. The Sr. Human Resources Specialist will counsel and advise managers and employees on employee relations issues and in sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality of information. |
