Job Summary | The Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences Program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute invites applications for a faculty position in Game Development to begin Fall 2024, to teach courses in game design, development, and production. Appointment will be at the rank of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, or Professor of Practice, with a multi-year, renewable contract. |
Minimum Qualifications | Applicants must possess an MFA, PhD, or foreign equivalent in Game Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Evidence of effective teaching, and the ability to demonstrate, through accomplishment, promise of academic, scholarly and/or research achievement. They will demonstrate proficiency in one or more game engines, along with a robust background in project management and production processes within the gaming industry. Additionally, candidates must exhibit a commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment. For appointment at the rank of Senior Lecturer, candidates must also have attained a significant level of scholarly activity, research output, or individual creative practice. A Professor of Practice has obtained unique professional experience, has distinguished research, and/or has performed at an executive or officer level, and has made a significant impact within the field of games. A Professor of Practice is expected to have substantial leadership experience of at least (10-15 years) and generally a national or international reputation for excellence in their field of expertise. Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered. |
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities | Qualified candidates at any rank will have demonstrated expertise in game development including expertise in one or more area of games such as design, programming, art, audio, production, or narrative; and substantive teaching experience and/or experience as a professional at a Senior or higher level. |

Job Summary | The Director of Real Estate directs all activities associated with land management/leases; real estate revenue activities; building and land acquisition/sales; building and land appraisals; all Rensselaer property-related tax payments; Rensselaer tax exemption requirements; and special activities, that include leases and subleases of external facilities, fraternity/sorority land/building leases and finances; estate activities and community issues. The Director is responsible for leading real estate and economic development programs to attract diverse and innovative partners to engage on properties owned by the Institution both residential and commercial, inclusive of properties at Rensselaer Technology Park (RTP). This will comprise extensive collaboration with multiple portfolios including the Office of Strategic Alliances and Translation (OSAT), Provost, Student Life, OCEC, and Finance. The Director is responsible to develop programs to attract and maintain tenant occupants of RTP and create a self-funded real estate program. Programs that cultivate community and regional relationships and foster an exchange of ideas between community leaders, industry partners, researchers and students. The Director is responsible for all fiscal management of the RTP and real estate program including operating and capital budget development and financial controls to achieve goals. |

Job Summary | The Network Security Engineer is responsible for providing technical leadership and oversight for complex, enterprise-wide services including the design, development and maintenance of campus security network infrastructure. The network security engineer is involved in all aspects of network security from detecting, tracking, identifying, collecting evidence & resolving break-ins, virus/worm infections, and campus hacking. In addition, the Network Security Engineer leads complex projects that often include individuals from different departments or portfolios and leadership. This position collaborates closely with other technical and IT leadership positions providing high-level guidance, mentoring and training including helping to develop other technical employees. |

Job Summary | The Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute seeks applications for a tenure-track (or tenured) faculty position at the Associate Professor level in Business Analytics/Supply Chain Management starting Fall 2024. Candidates must have a PhD degree from an accredited university in Analytics, Operations Research, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field, along with demonstrated evidence to produce original and innovative scholarly work with publications in premier business journals. The successful candidate will join the School either as a tenure-track assistant professor, or as an associate professor, based on teaching and research experience and success. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated potential and commitment to effective teaching in our graduate and undergraduate degree programs in supply chain and business analytics, as well as provide service to the School of Management and to Rensselaer. The position requires excellence in research in the area of supply chain and analytics, effective written communication skills, and strong technical skills in areas such as analytical modeling, data management, machine learning and computation. Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies including artificial intelligence and Blockchain and in topics relevant to global shifts in supply chains would be a plus. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage with and develop research initiatives aligned both within the Lally School and with the new strategic research initiatives at Rensselaer. The School provides an intellectually stimulating and collaborative environment for inter-disciplinary scholarly contributions with support for research, teaching, and service. We are seeking an outstanding candidate who is driven and willing to engage with the vibrant, diverse and inclusive cross-disciplinary research community at Rensselaer. Job Summary | The Sr. Major Gift Officer (MGO) will serve as the Senior Regional Director of Development for the Southwest Region of the United States and will be responsible for developing a regular cadence of strategic opportunities focused on engaging existing and prospective major donors with the end goal of qualifying, soliciting, and closing major gifts. This role will serve as the primary strategist and staff person for the Texas Triangle Executive Council. Job Summary | Position Title: Data Analyst Position Duties: The Data Analyst position in the Undergraduate Education Office Department in Troy, NY will work with the Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Education to improve student retention by working across the institute to assure that machine learning and Artificial Intelligence modeling is applied to student retention data and used to develop and implement relevant AI based programming for all undergraduate cohorts. Specifically, Data Analyst will perform the following duties:
(This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, which allows the Data Analyst to work from home several times a week) Requirements: Masters in Business Administration, AI/Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Statistical Practice, or other highly data centric field. A successful candidate must also have at least three (3) months of experience as a data analyst or data analyst intern, which includes three (3) months of experience in the following computer skills:

Job Summary | The Supervisor, Research Machine Shop directs the continuous, efficient and safe day-to-day operations of the Research Machine Shop. The Supervisor, Research Machine Shop supervises Shop staff, manages workload, monitors performance and serves as the Shop client service liaison. The Supervisor manages the Research Machine Shop master schedule, project estimation and invoice preparation. |
