Job Summary | The Department of Electrical, Computer, and Systems Engineering (ECSE) at RENSSELAER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE in Troy, NY invites applications for multiple tenured/tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant and Associate Professor levels. The ECSE department is in a period of multi-year growth. We seek individuals with demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching, combining innovative methods and compelling applications. We welcome candidates with research interests in semiconductor technology, next-generation computing including quantum computing, networking and security, energy and power systems, and robotics and artificial intelligence. Successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, develop and maintain a robust and externally sponsored research program, and participate in activities that strengthen the department, the School, Rensselaer, and the broader professional community. As part of this renewal, we seek applications for the Frank and Lillian Gilbreth Endowed Chaired and Tenured Full Professorship in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Rensselaer. Assistant Athletic Trainer
Pay Status and Classification: Exempt, Regular full-time. This is a 12 month position.
Supervisor: Head Athletic Trainer/Student-Athlete Program Director
Position Purpose: Under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer, the Assistant Athletic Trainer supports the athletic department by providing care to student-athletes including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation.
Union College sponsors 26 intercollegiate sports, 24 in Division III, with Ice Hockey competing at Division I. The College is committed to excellence in academics and athletics, diversity and a well-balanced, broad based intercollegiate athletics program dedicated to the concept of the student-athlete.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Treatment: Develop and implement injury prevention programs. Provide first aid and emergency care when necessary. Evaluate and diagnose athletic injuries. Design and monitor rehabilitation programs for injured student athletes. Provides therapeutic treatment such as taping, bracing, and modalities.
- Communication and Collaboration: Educate student athletes on care and prevention of athletic injuries. Provide guidance on proper conditioning techniques. Communicate effectively with coaches and student athletes about injury status and progress. Coordinates with physicians and healthcare providers as needed.
- Administration: Provides support with the daily operations of the athletic training room and assists with the supervision of work study students. Electronic medical record keeping of athletic injuries, treatments, and rehabilitation progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or a related field required. Master’s degree and experience with National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) regulations and compliance knowledge preferred.
- National Athletic Trainers Association certified and in good standing with the Board of Certification (BOC) for athletic trainers.
- First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, and Automated External Defibrillator certifications required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to work in inclement weather.
- Physical requirements: Ability to engage in various physical activities, which may include lifting items of different weights of 25 pounds and more, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to travel when necessary.
- Must be a licensed athletic trainer in New York State or eligible for licensing in the state of New York.

Position Purpose:
Plays a pivotal role in advancing fundraising endeavors at Union College by engaging in the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major donors capable of making significant financial contributions ranging from $20,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 to bolster the institution's mission and strategic objectives.

Develops detailed cultivation and solicitation plans annually for the top 25-50 donor prospects, incorporating opportunities for current use pledges and planned giving to drive philanthropic engagement. Nurtures enduring relationships with major donors by delivering exceptional stewardship and personalized engagement experiences.
- Knowledge of Union: Cultivates a comprehensive understanding of Union’s history, academic, extracurricular, and athletic programs, along with familiarity with faculty, students, and administration. Maintains a deep awareness of the College’s priorities and initiatives, translating them into fundraising opportunities, while staying informed about trends and developments in higher education as an industry.

- Safety and Security Patrol: Patrols campus premises on foot or vehicle to ensure the safety and security of students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Identifies and responds to potential security threats, suspicious activities, and safety hazards. Monitors access to campus buildings and facilities and ensures that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas. Directs traffic during peak hours, special events, or emergencies, ensuring smooth flow and pedestrian safety.
- Emergency Response: Responds promptly to emergency calls, provides first aid or assistance as needed, and coordinates with other emergency responders when required.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Safety Compliance: Conducts pre-trip inspections of equipment before each designated route. Reports concerns regarding vehicle safety, road hazards, and safety for the community being served i.e. road hazards, sick or intoxicated students to the immediate supervisor from Campus Safety. Information Technology Services (ITS) at the University at Albany seeks applicants for an Infrastructure Automation Engineer to support the academic, research, and business needs of this vibrant institution. The successful candidate has the technical knowledge and intellectual curiosity to build complex environments for a wide variety of disciplines and departments. They have keen analytical skills and are driven to solve problems and acquire new knowledge to inform and build an environment commensurate with the needs of a public research university.
As part of a group of IT professionals, the Infrastructure Automation Engineer plays a key role in design, development, implementation, and maintenance of application and infrastructure systems to provide secure and robust solutions. They are adept at working in physical and virtual environments, and on-premises and cloud-based applications.
The Infrastructure Automation Engineer collaborates across ITS, providing input and expertise to a range of services.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day operational ownership for assigned AI/ML platforms including patching, upgrading, configuration management, system backups, continuous monitoring, and performance management.
- Design and implement automated solutions for hardware and software infrastructure.
- Automate the deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications and services, and administer automated workflow tools, middleware application servers (i.e., Oracle Weblogic, IBM WebSphere), and server visualization technologies (i.e., VMware, Red Hat Virtualization, or Oracle VM).
- Create and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) scripts using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Collaborate with software development and operations teams to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Manage and maintain virtual and cloud-based infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and networking equipment.
- Monitor and optimize system performance and availability.
- Maintain security posture in accordance with industry best practice and ITS policies and procedures. Implement and maintain security controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems.
- Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve the efficiency and reliability of our infrastructure.
- Manage host environments to ensure proper tuning and sufficient capacity (including web servers, database servers, VMWare, Cisco, Citrix, SAN, directories, and blades).
- Engage in the design and build of solutions that align with architectural norms, industry best practices, ITS standards, and meet project and operational requirements. Contribute to the development of architectural blueprints, templates, tools, systems standards, technical roadmaps, and operational procedures.
- Plan, design, build, implement, and support a growing array of cloud automation tools and services.
- Maintain subject matter expertise by staying current with industry trends and following a professional development plan.

- Effectively and proactively communicate with peers, researchers, and management.
