Required:

• Valid driver's license

• Washing cars for the sales lot and delivery
• Vacuuming and shampooing interiors
• Applying paint and windshield treatments
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
• Fueling vehicles
• Assisting in other shop duties as needed

• Monday-Friday; 8:00AM - 5:00PM

This position will assist our General Surgeons in their busy office practice including but not limited to rooming patients, taking vitals, returning patient phone calls, scheduling surgeries, assisting with form completion and insurance authorizations. Knowledge of computers is a must because we use an electronic medical record and accurate data entry is an expectation for this position. This position is full-time Monday-Friday (38 hours/week) with medical and dental benefits, pension after one year and no working nights, major holidays or weekends. Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Ophthalmic Technician. This position requires a nurse to doctor mentality to prepare the patient to see the doctor. The Ophthalmic Technician will be responsible for performing patient work-ups, visual field testing, OCT testing, visual acuity testing, tonometry, pachymetry, corneal topography, fundus photography, scribing for the physician, and assisting in minor surgeries such as LASIK.

Qualifications

• Experience in Optometry, Ophthalmology, or medicine
• Skills in scribing for physicians
• Experience in patient work-ups
• Ability to perform diagnostic testing:  visual field testing, OCT testing, visual acuity testing, tonometry, pachymetry, and corneal topography
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Strong follow-up skills
• Must show empathy and compassion
• Self motivated and team oriented
• Friendly personality
• Familiarity with EMR software
• Certification from JCAHPO or willingness to obtain certification (not required but highly encouraged)
